Reveal Digital

Reveal Digital is a limited liability company based in Ann Arbor, MI, created to develop a set of open access, web-based collections of digitized newspapers and related materials in partnership with U.S. academic libraries. Support for the enterprise is being sought in the form of direct investment by academic libraries to cover the costs of digitizing the newspapers, and the hosting and ongoing maintenance of the digital collections created. 

On February 14, 2019, Reveal Digital revealed that it was an affiliate of ITHAKA. ITHAKA is a not-for-profit organization that works with the global higher educational community to advance and preserve knowledge and to improve teaching and learning through the use of digital technologies.

UK Data Service

The UK Data Service is funded by the Economic & Social Research Council (ESRC) "to meet the data needs of researchers, students and teachers from all [U.K.] sectors, including academia, central and local government, charities and foundations, independent research centres, think tanks, and business consultants and the commercial sector."

Law Library Microform Consortium

A non-profit consortium of over 300 law libraries that preserves important historical legal publications from all world regions through microfilm and digital reformatting, and archives print source materials.  The consortium is the publisher of the LLMC-Digital database.

Readex

Readex is a subsidiary of NewsBank Inc., a privately held company based in Naples, Florida (USA). Established in 1950 as the Readex Microprint Corporation and acquired by NewsBank, Inc. in 1984, Readex is a major aggregator of newspaper and other content in digital, microform and print formats. Brill

Brill is an independent publishing company, founded in 1683.  Based in Leiden, with offices in Leiden and Boston, Brill publishes journals, new books, and reference works in the humanities, social sciences, international law and (to a lesser extent) science.  In addition, Brill is a provider of primary source materials online and on microform for researchers in the humanities and social sciences. CLOCKSS

CLOCKSS is a 501c3 not-for-profit organization with a decentralized system for preserving electronic scholarly content. Publishers and librarians participate in deciding procedures, priorities, and under what circumstances to trigger the release to the web of archived content. Content is stored in twelve archive nodes that are located worldwide.

Canadiana.org

Canadiana.org is a non-profit organization that works together with partners (including Library and Archives Canada)  to present Canada's documentary heritage content online. The organization acts as a coordinator, facilitator and advocate for digitization initiatives, and provides access services and preservation infrastructure. Canadiana is membership alliance governed by a volunteer Board of Directors made up of  scholars and representatives of major Canadian university libraries and other memory institutions.
