This information is intended to inform library decisions on investment in electronic resources and related services.
Public Library of Science (PLOS)
Public Library of Science (known as PLOS) is a non-profit publisher of Open Access journals. As of 2021, PLOS is publishing articles in the following seven Open Access Journals:

WP Company LLC (The Washington Post)
In 2013, The Washington Post Company (now Graham Holdings Company) sold the online and print publication The Washington Post to Jeff Bezos through a private investment firm, Nash Holdings LLC. WP Company LLC (doing business as The Washington Post) operates as a subsidiary of Nash Holdings LLC.
Canadiana.org
Canadiana.org is a part of the Canadiana Research Knowledge Network (CRKN). It works together with the Library and Archives Canada (LAC) and others to present Canada's documentary heritage content online. The organization provides access and preservation infrastructure for Canadian publications. In April 2018, Canadiana.org merged with the Canadian Research Knowledge Network (CRKN).
World Bank
Since its inception in 1944, the World Bank has expanded from a single institution to an associated group of coordinated development institutions with a shared goal of reducing poverty. The Bank's mission evolved from a facilitator of post-war reconstruction and development to its present day mandate of worldwide poverty alleviation. The World Bank's most recent stated goal is the reduction of poverty in part by creating learning opportunities for countries.
Microform Academic Publishers
Microform Imaging Limited has two distinct trading divisions. Microform Scanning & Microfilming which provides bureau services, and Microform Academic Publishers which maintains the company’s original pedigree focusing on preservation and dissemination of the information and knowledge stored in libraries, archives and record offices from all corners of the United Kingdom. Additionally their British Online Archives (BOA) is used for their digitized primary source collections under the parent company of Microform Academic Publishers.
As of September 2018, the North American sales representative for the BOA collections is Digital Micro Media (DMM).
Brill
Brill is an independent publishing company, founded in 1683. Based in Leiden, with offices in Leiden and Boston, Brill publishes journals, new books, and reference works in the humanities, social sciences, international law and (to a lesser extent) science. In addition, Brill is a provider of primary source materials online and on microform for researchers in the humanities and social sciences. Brill imprints include Brill, IDC, Nijhoff Brill (formerly Martinus Nijhoff), Rodopi Brill, Hes & De Graaf, and Hotei Publishing.
Oxford University Press
With origins dating back to 1478, Oxford University Press (OUP) has a Global Academic Publishing program that spans the entire academic and higher education spectrum, including a wide array of scholarly and general interest books, journals, and online products.

The HistoryMakers is a Chicago-based, nonprofit organization that collects and curates oral histories of African Americans.
East View Information Services
East View Information Services (EVIS) is a provider of native and translated foreign language information products and services, including Russian, Chinese, and Arabic databases, print periodicals, books and microforms. The company serves academic institutions, government organizations, corporations, public and federal libraries and law firms. East View was founded in 1989 and is headquartered in Minneapolis, MN, with major offices in Russia and Ukraine.

Bloomsbury Publishing is an independent publishing house established in 1986 and based in London. It has offices in London, New York, Sydney and New Delhi.
In 2015 its divisions included Bloomsbury Academic and Professional, Bloomsbury Information, Bloomsbury Adult Publishing and Bloomsbury Children's Publishing. Bloomsbury USA is a U.S.-based sunbsidiary.
Government Publishing Office
"The U.S. Government Publishing Office (GPO) is the Federal Government’s official resource for producing, procuring, cataloging, indexing, authenticating, disseminating, and preserving the official information products of the U.S. Government. The GPO is responsible for the production and distribution of information products and services for all three branches of the Federal Government in digital and print formats. The American Physical Society is a non-profit membership organization based in College Park, Maryland, dedicated to the advancement and diffusion of the knowledge of physics through the publication of research journals, the hosting of scientific meetings, and education, advocacy, and other activities. Members include physicists in academia, national laboratories, and industry in the United States and abroad.
American Physiological Society
Non-profit association founded in 1887 and based in Bethesda, Maryland, the APS is publisher of the American Journal of Physiology, Journal of Applied Physiology, Journal of Neurophysiology, others. Members include those with doctoral degrees in medicine, physiology and other health-related fields.

OriProbe Information Services
Oriprobe Information Services, Inc. is a privately-held company that offers information services and access to a variety of China/Asia electronic resources. OriProbe opened its headquarters in Ontario, Canada in 2005.
