Early Encounters in North America: Peoples, Cultures, and the Environment documents the relationships among peoples in North America from 1534 to 1850. The collection focuses on personal accounts and provides perspectives from all of the protagonists, including traders, slaves, missionaries, explorers, soldiers, native peoples, and officials, both men and women. This collection provides a wide range of published and unpublished accounts, including narratives, diaries, journals, and letters.
The Gilded Age
The Gilded Age collection brings together 53,000 pages of full text, photographs, songs for listening online, and other primary materials, along with video interviews and twenty-five critical documentary essays. Each documentary essay poses an interpretive question and then illuminates it with dozens of annotated primary documents, introductions, and essays. The critical documentary essays have been created by leading scholars in the field, including Samuel Thomas of Michigan State University, Christopher Reed of Roosevelt University, Kim Warren of the University of Kansas, and Daniel Thorp of Virginia Tech.
North American Indian Thought and Culture
North American Indian Thought and Culture provides access to autobiographies, biographies, Indian publications, oral histories, personal writings, photographs, drawings, and audio files that were previously unpublished. It includes fifty-four volumes from the 18th and 19th centuries with works by Cadwallader Colden, William Apes, Samuel G. Drake, and Benjamin Drake, as well as autobiographies by Black Hawk, Okah Tubbee, Kah-Ga-Gah-Bowh, and many others. Popular Medicine in America, 1800-1900 presents materials from the Library Company of Philadelphia’s collection. The resource documents the history of ‘popular’ medicine in America during the nineteenth century, featuring a wide variety of material that was aimed at the general public rather than medical professionals, and which enabled the ordinary person to treat himself and his family at home using an array of inventive methods and fashionable techniques.

State Papers Online
State Papers Online is a comprehensive collection of primary source British documents. Four modules covering 1509 to 1714, the period of the Tudor and Stuart monarchies, have already been completed; a new collection for the 18th century (covering 1714 to 1782) will be released in three modules, beginning in summer 2013. This wealth of digitized documents includes manuscript correspondence, reports, Parliamentary drafts, and depositions on domestic and foreign affairs.

Scottish Women Poets of the Romantic Period is a collection of over 60 volumes of lyric poetry by Scottish women, written between 1789 and 1832. Semantic indexing allows users to browse the authors, source works, individual poems, links to related web resource, or essays. Full text searches of words or phrases can be limited by fields such as year and place of birth or death; by the writer’s religion, nationality, and ethnicity; and by specifying an editor, publisher, or printer of the source work.

North American Women's Letters and Diaries
North American Women's Letters and Diaries is a collection of approximately 150,000 pages of letters and diaries from Colonial times to 1950, including 7,000 pages of previously unpublished manuscripts—all in electronic format for the first time. The material is drawn from more than 1,000 sources, including journal articles, pamphlets, newsletters, monographs, and conference proceedings, and much of it is in copyright. Represented are all age groups and life stages, a wide range of ethnicities, many geographical regions, the famous, and the not so famous. More than 1,500 biographies enhance the use of the database.

Independent Radio News Archive
"The London Broadcasting Company/Independent Radio News audio archive consists of 7,000 reel-to-reel tapes in a collection that runs from 1973 to the mid-1990s. It is the most important commercial radio archive in the UK and provides a unique audio history of the period. African Electronic Journals (SA ePublications)
A full-text online database of more than 350 South and Southern African journals. The titles deal with business, education, the humanities, science, medical and health sciences, law, and theology. The journal content is largely the product of research carried out in Africa, and often does not deal with Africa as a subject.
North American Indian Drama
North American Indian Drama from Alexander Street Press contains 244 plays by 48 playwrights of North American Indian identity (in current U.S. and Canada). More than half of the works are previously unpublished, representing groups such as Cherokee, Métis, Creek, Choctaw, Pembina Chippewa, Ojibway, Lenape, Comanche, Cree, Navajo, Rappahannock, Hawaiian/Samoan, and others.

Cambridge Archive Editions Online will bring together the 1,200-volume series of Cambridge Archive Editions in full-text, searchable format. Cambridge Archive Editions presents scholarly articles and facsimile editions of primary source documents (with full annotation) from the National Archives of the UK covering the Near and Middle East, Slavic and Balkan regions, and East and South East Asia.
Cambridge Archive Editions is an imprint of Cambridge University Press. East View Information Services will develop and host the volumes on its "Universal Database" platform.
UKPressOnline
UKPressOnline provides several major United Kingdom tabloid newspapers from 1835 to the present day. The titles include historical and current issues of Daily Express & Sunday Express, Daily Mirror, Daily Star (& Sunday), Morning Star and Church Times.
