CRL gathers and provides information here about commercial and open access digital resources of interest to the CRL community. This information is intended to inform library decisions on investment in electronic resources and related services.

This resource is unique in that it is the only resource, at this point, that provides easy access to many historical time series.

The OpenEdition publishing initiative focuses on providing open access content. They characterize the funding model as “hybrid”, where library subscriptions derive value added services in addition to directly funding publishing efforts.
KLG - Kritisches Lexikon zur deutschsprachigen Gegenwartsliteratur provides access to contemporary German-language literature of the 20th and 21st centuries.
Founded by Heinz Ludwig Arnold and currently edited by Hermann Korte, the KLG contains more than 800 articles. Detailed essays give a survey of the author's work and influence and include bibliographies of the author's works and of secondary literature.
The KLG database is closely integrated with Munzinger's information services and is continually updated and expanded.
The HistoryMakers Digital Archive is an extensive online, subscription database of over 10,000 hours of full-text and video interviews with African-Americans distinguished in the fields of science, culture, politics, the arts, and public life.

American Periodicals from the Center for Research Libraries (APCRL) is a digital collection of 375 popular and trade journals from Center for Research Library collections, digitized in collaboration with ProQuest.
