UKPressOnline provides several major United Kingdom tabloid newspapers from 1835 to the present day. The titles include historical and current issues of Daily Express & Sunday Express, Daily Mirror, Daily Star (& Sunday), Morning Star and Church Times. Additional historical content includes Daily Worker, The Watchman, Yorkshire Post, British Union of Fascists press (Action! The Blackshirt & Fascist Week), and selected WWI & WWII-era resources.

Online full-text access to the English-language Japan Chronicle Weekly (1902 – 1941). The Japan Chronicle offers an important primary resource for researchers, particularly for those unfamiliar with the Japanese language. Presently the resource offers the years 1919 – 1941. The remaining years 1902 – 1919 will reportedly be made available in 2015.

American Periodicals from the Center for Research Libraries (APCRL) is a digital collection of 375 popular and trade journals from Center for Research Library collections, digitized in collaboration with ProQuest.
The de Gruyter Online Journal Archive comprises the full text content of 155 academic journals, published between 1826 and 2010. It is offered to institutions as an outright perpetual purchase, either as a Complete Collection, or as a selection of subject-based packages: Library and Information Science; Science, Technology and Medicine; Linguistics, Literature and Communications; Classical Studies and Theology; Philosophy; and Law. Trench Journals and Unit Magazines of the First World War is an archival research resource containing a vast collection of rare magazines by and for servicemen and women of all nations during the First World War. Over 1500 periodicals written and illustrated by serving members of the armed forces and associated welfare organizations published between 1914 and the end of 1919 are included.
The Stalin Digital Archive (SDA) is planned to encompass almost 400,000 pages of unpublished materials from the archives of Soviet dictator Joseph Stalin, a central figure in Soviet and 20th-century world events. Items selected include personal correspondence, memoranda, log books, and internal reports. It also will include 25 monographs from the Annals of Communism (AOC) series from Yale University Press, providing translations of several hundred primary source documents, which will be presented in cross-searchable e-book format.
American Pamphlets, Series 1, offers a collection of pamphlets ancipated ultimately to total more than 25,000 short works printed in every region of the United States between 1820 and 1922. Launched in 2013 with completion expected in 2016, this collection joins American Broadsides and Ephemera to form Readex's America's Historical Imprints platform.
American Broadsides and Ephemera, Series 1, offers images of approximately 15,000 broadsides printed between 1820 and 1900 and 15,000 pieces of ephemera printed between 1749 and 1900. The content was digitized from originals in the collections of the American Antiquarian Society.

The principal historical English language newspaper in China, published in Shanghai from 1850-1941, is available full-text searchable from Brill. With correspondents throughout China, the paper also served as the official journal for British consular notifications, and provided translations of some official Chinese notifications.
