The Gilded Age

The Gilded Age collection brings together 53,000 pages of full text, photographs, songs for listening online, and other primary materials, along with video interviews and twenty-five critical documentary essays. Each documentary essay poses an interpretive question and then illuminates it with dozens of annotated primary documents, introductions, and essays. The critical documentary essays have been created by leading scholars in the field, including Samuel Thomas of Michigan State University, Christopher Reed of Roosevelt University, Kim Warren of the University of Kansas, and Daniel Thorp of Virginia Tech.

Global Press Archive

The Global Press Archive is an initiative by East View Information Services in partnership with Stanford University Libraries and the Hoover Institution Library & Archives to digitize over 2,000 predominantly foreign-language newspaper titles ranging in coverage from the late 19th Century to present times. 

Launched in 2016, the Global Press Archive features stand-alone titles and databases aggregating multiple titles from specific regions and time periods, and includes over 1,500 newspapers, 450,000 issues, and 4.7 million pages of content, with 17 countries and 12 languages represented. Most Global Press Alliance titles have been released on East View’...

Granth Sanjeevan

Granth Sanjeevan provides access to over 25 million pages of digitized material from The Asiatic Society of Mumbai.  The collections include digitized copies of old and rare books from the 15th Century onwards, newspapers like Bombay Chronicle, Bombay Times and others, manuscripts, journals, maps and government publications.
