OpenAfrica

OpenAfrica is a volunteer driven open data platform, it aims to be the largest independent repository of open data on the African continent. Maintained by Code for Africa, it is a public service that is available as a free resource for citizens, civil society organisations, civic activists, the media, and government agencies. Users can upload, download and reuse data available through the platform.

ORCID

ORCID provides two core functions: (1) a registry to obtain a unique identifier and manage a record of activities, and (2) APIs that support system-to-system communication and authentication. ORCID makes its code available under an open source license, and will post an annual public data file under a CC0 waiver for free download.

The Ovid Arts Package is a collection of four Arts and Humanities 'Abstract and Indexing' databases, currently provided on the SilverPlatter platform.    The Bibliography of the History of Art (BHA) presents contemporary literature from 1973 to the present day on the visual arts from the 4th century to modern times. Oxford University Press has created digital versions of its series of authoritative scholarly editions in literature, history, religion, and philosophy, rendered from print versions published from 1888 through 2012. The nine chronological/thematic modules released so far present drama, prose, and verse from the early 17th century through the Restoration period (late 1500s through 1700).

Oxford University Studies in the Enlightenment Online

Oxford University Studies in the Enlightenment Online provides access to 217 volumes from the "Studies on Voltaire and the Eighteen Century" (SVEC) and "Oxford University Studies in the Enlightenment" (OSEO). 

This digital collection is scheduled to launch in September 2018, with all volumes within the print series digitized by 2020.

Parker Library on the Web

This significant collection of medieval manuscripts accumulated by Archbishop Matthew Parker and housed in the library of Corpus Christi College, Cambridge, has been digitized in a joint project between the College, Cambridge University, and Stanford University, completed in 2009. The database is maintained by Stanford and distributed exclusively through Otto Harrassowitz GmbH & Co.

Planet

Planet Labs provides a series of products of satellite images and data for research using geospatial data. The products utilize the imagery produced by Planet Lab's Triple CubeSat miniature satellites, programed to capture different swaths of Earth.

According to Planet's company site, the products serve a wide range of markets, including: agriculture, civil government, defense and intelligence, education and research, emergency management, energy and infrastructure, finance and business, forestry and land use, insurance, mapping and maritime.
