Launched in 2012, Verfasser-Datenbank (Database of Authors) features articles on literary authors in the German-speaking world from the Middle Ages to present. The database combines four literary studies reference works for a total of over 20,000 articles: Die deutsche Literatur des Mittelalters, Deutscher Humanismus 1480-1520, Frühe Neuzeit in Deutschland 1520-1620, and the Killy-Literaturlexikon.

Verfasser-Datenbank is intended to be updated regularly, with ongoing revision of Literatur des Mittelalters (German Literature of the Middle Ages) overseen by an academic advisory board. voxgov

voxgov, first launched for subscription access in January 2014, is a unique “discovery platform” which aggregates a broad range of official and ephemeral information resources issued by individual representatives and organizations from all branches of the U.S. Federal Government, and links that content to publicly accessible government documentation.

voxgov developers indicated in 2014 that they then accessed content from over 10,000 government website locations in continuous daily indexing, and that they cache web content including “information that is no longer retrievable.” They assert that many governmental press releases, as well as social media posts, have “never before been aggregated, much less collected in real-time....

Weapons of Mass Destruction, The Top Secret History of America's Nuclear, Chemical and Biological Warfare Programs and Their Deployment Overseas, is an online collection containing over 2,600 formerly classified U.S. government documents, many of them classified as Top Secret or higher. Wharton Research Data Services (WRDS) is a business research platform and intelligence tool widely used by academic, corporate, government, and nonprofit researchers.WRDS provides users a single online location for access to terabytes of data across multiple disciplines including: accounting, banking, economics, finance, ESG and statistics. 

WRDS aggregates and retains content from a variety of data sources, and serves as a source of historical data from a number of vendors that themselves maintain only current information. World Biographical Information System (WBIS) Online

The microfiche edition of K. G. Saur's Biographical Archives has been digitized and issued as a group of  databases known as the World Biographical Information System (WBIS) Online. Reference works including biographical lexicons, encyclopedias, and monographs dating from the 16th century through the 1990s are the sources of biographical entries and articles on more than five million people from various countries from the 4th millennium B.C. to the late 20th century.

World News Connection

The World News Connection (WNC) contains English-language transcriptions of news articles from selected non-U.S. sources, generated by the U.S. Open Source Center. WNC began distribution in 1995 as a successor product to the Foreign Broadcast Information Service Daily Reports. The service was discontinued on December 31, 2013.

The WNC offered by East View Information Services offers full-text access to retrospective content from November 1, 1995 through December 31, 2013.
