CRL gathers and provides information here about commercial and open access digital resources of interest to the CRL community. This information is intended to inform library decisions on investment in electronic resources and related services.
One title within the Economist Intelligence Unit's (EIU) "Country Analysis and Forecasting" subscription series set is the EIU Country Reports. These provide regular, detailed economic and political forecasts for over 190 countries, and EIU assessments of the business and regulatory environments in those countries. The reports are updated periodically to reflect significant political and economic developments, and provide data on key economic indicators, and forecasts of economic statistics out to five years.
The Economist Intelligence Unit (EIU) Subscription Services provide several distinct sources of information on global political and economic trends, including original research and analysis. One group of subscription services products from the EIU is “Data Services,” presented as both regular reports themselves and as distinct, web-based tools.

Biomedical research and clinical practice with a special focus on all aspects of drug discovery and development. Embase provides users with timely access to pharmacological and biomedical literature to keep them up to date with the latest scientific developments. It contains records from over 7,000 journals from over 70 countries, which are fully indexed. Over 18 million bibliographic records are included with over 2,000 new records being added each working day.
Engineering Case Studies Online focuses on engineering failures and employs the case study method for learning from the past. Materials included in cases can range from documentaries, accident reports, company reports, photographs and interviews. There are 58 cases that include significant supporting materials. At completion, Environmental Studies in Video will contain 500 hours of film covering all realms of environmental studies, particularly ethics, policy, economics, law, sociology, planning, and environmental science. Films were produced from 1970 to the present, and address specific topics including alternative energy, pollution control, eco-design, sustainability, farming and agriculture, the food industry, LEED certification, waste issues, and climate change.
The Electronic Records Archives (ERA) is NARA's digital repository system for federal agency records management. ERA provides workflow support for transactions that occur between NARA and its agency customers to process and preserve electronic records. Agency records management staff use ERA to draft new record retention schedules for records, submit those schedules for approval by NARA, request the transfer of records in any format to NARA for accessioning or pre-accessioning, and submit electronic records for storage in the ERA electronic records repository. The product combines GIS analysis and visualization tools with a data package that provides insight in to markets, customers, and competitors. The software provides a system for analyzing data to reveal patterns in a business and is mainly focused as a solution for market planning and site selection. .

Esri's Community Analyst is a cloud-based, web application that provides users with demographic and third-party sourced data on communities in order to inform policy decision making. Through data and analysis tools, Community Analyst facilitates examination of specific locations, geographic areas, or custom regions you create on maps, as well as critical analyses represented in reports.
The Community Analyst datasets cover business, consumer spending, and demographic data that are updated quarterly, semiannually, annually and decennially (in the case of U.S. Census data).

The EUREKA.CC database provides access to more than 2,500 news and current event sources from North America, Latin America, and Europe. A subscription includes all of the titles as a group, with pricing levels based on the number of simultaneous users.
Eurobarometer is a series of public opinion surveys conducted by the European Commission. The surveys address a variety of topical issues relating to the European Union throughout the member states. Survey results are published by the European Commission.
