CRL gathers and provides information here about commercial and open access digital resources of interest to the CRL community. This information is intended to inform library decisions on investment in electronic resources and related services.
Brockelmann Online consists of both original volumes of the Geschichte der arabischen Litteratur as well as the three supplement volumes. It is full-text searchable, making it much easier to consult for researchers and students. 'Brockelmann' is an indispensible research tool for anyone working on the Islamic world in general and the Middle East in particular.
The Linguistic Bibliography Online is an essential linguistic reference tool that is unique in its field. It provides over 250.000 bibliographical references to scholarly publications in linguistics and is by far the most comprehensive bibliography in the field.
Brill Journal Archive Online has over fifty thousand articles from more than eighty journals covering subjects such as biology, human rights, international law, and the social sciences. Titles include one of the world's oldest academic journals on Chinese studies, T'oung Pao.
A bibliography and catalog of books printed in Arabic script before 1960. The records will be based on Arab characters, with full authority control of romanized forms of names and places, as well as the western forms of the names, in accordance with the major international standards (ISO, NACO, NAF). This bibliography will ultimately contain approximately 65,000 titles of books and 15,000 authority records. Also biographical information about the authors will be added. The bibliography will be supplemented over the years from many different sources.
