Through data and analysis tools, Community Analyst facilitates examination of specific locations, geographic areas, or custom regions you create on maps, as well as critical analyses represented in reports.

Esri Community Analyst is a cloud-based mapping solution that provides GIS capabilities through a web application, an API for custom applications, or as an add-in for ArcGIS for Desktop. Esri Community Analyst includes global data and reports for more than 135 countries. These datasets range from population and households to healthcare spending and crime rates. Users can access recent demographics about total population, family size, household income, and unemployment. Community Analyst is focused on policy issues and enabling understanding of communities from social issues perspective.

The Community Analyst datasets cover business, consumer spending, and demographic data that are updated quarterly, semiannually, annually and decennially (in the case of U.S. Census data). Global demographic, spending, lifestyle, and business data falls into the following categories:

Community analyst also provides data for custom areas user specified on the map or for typical geographic areas, such as congressional district, block groups, census tracts, or ZIP Codes.

Delivery: 

Community analyst data is made available through a web application or an API for custom applications. It is also available as an add-in for the ArcGIS platform. Esri Demographics can be accessed through web maps and GeoEnrichment services—which include infographics, data enrichment, and reports.

Esri also offers one time purchase of demographic data reports about locations in the United States. Each report costs $50.00 USD.

Terms: 

According to the provider's website, Community Analyst is offered through a "Light" subscription pacakge (up to 5 users, $3,000 per year and good for 200 reports) and and the "Standard" subscription (up to 5 users, $4,000 per year, good for 1,000 reports).
