To this end, SATP provides access to data and documents representing acts of terror in the following countries: Afghanistan Bangladesh Bhutan India Maldives Nepal Pakistan Sri Lanka The resource focuses on several areas of data aggregation and analysis: daily news updates on terrorism and related issues in South Asia, continuous updating of assessments, backgrounds and timelines for each of the major conflicts in the region, data sheets and statistics on important parameters relating to major conflicts, archives of research and analysis relating to conflicts and terrorism, profiles of major terrorist groups operating in the region, and aggregate documents, laws, treaties, conventions and statements connected with conflicts. Since its creation in 2000, the database has grown to accommodate 82,041 pages of data and information on terrorism in South Asia.
