Gale is a division of Cengage Learning Inc., a privately held for-profit corporation based in Stamford, CT, heavily invested in textbook publishing. Gale publishes major databases of digitized materials for the post-secondary academic market.
Gallup
Gallup is an American research-based, global performance-management consulting company known for its public opinion polls. Gallup also provides subscription-based research, analytics, and consulting to organizations.
Grupo Estado
Grupo Estado is a private holding company comprised of several news and broadcasting outlets in Brazil, including O Estado de S. Paulo, Agência Estado, Rádio Estadão, OESP Mídia, and several others. It is one of the largest newspaper companies in Brazil. Estado was founded in 1875, making it the oldest newspaper in the city of São Paulo still in circulation. The company began diversification in 1958 with the launch of Rádio Eldorado, and began publishing the Jornal da Tarde in 1966. Since 2000, the group operates several of its online media publications through the portal Estadao.com.br.
