CRL gathers and provides information here about publishers, aggregators, preservation services, and other organizations that host, publish, and maintain digital resources of interest to the CRL community. This information is intended to inform library decisions on investment in electronic resources and related services.
Reveal Digital
Reveal Digital is a limited liability company based in Ann Arbor, MI, created to develop a set of open access, web-based collections of digitized newspapers and related materials in partnership with U.S. academic libraries. Support for the enterprise is being sought in the form of direct investment by academic libraries to cover the costs of digitizing the newspapers, and the hosting and ongoing maintenance of the digital collections created.
On February 14, 2019, Reveal Digital revealed that it was an affiliate of ITHAKA. ITHAKA is a not-for-profit organization that works with the global higher educational community to advance and preserve knowledge and to improve teaching and learning through the use of digital technologies.
William S. Hein and Company Inc.
William S. Hein & Co., Inc. is a legal publisher that provide access to content through an online platform called Heinonline. HeinOnline is available by subscription with a core subscription package and additional a-la-carte libraries.
L'Harmattan

Brill
Brill is an independent publishing company, founded in 1683. Based in Leiden, with offices in Leiden and Boston, Brill publishes journals, new books, and reference works in the humanities, social sciences, international law and (to a lesser extent) science. In addition, Brill is a provider of primary source materials online and on microform for researchers in the humanities and social sciences. Brill imprints include Brill, IDC, Nijhoff Brill (formerly Martinus Nijhoff), Rodopi Brill, Hes & De Graaf, and Hotei Publishing.

Bloomsbury Publishing is an independent publishing house established in 1986 and based in London. It has offices in London, New York, Sydney and New Delhi.

Cairn, a limited public company based in Liege, Beligium, offers scholarly publications in the French language in the humanities and social sciences online. Cairn provides access to journals and ebooks from French, Belgian and Swiss publishers, and has offices in Liege and in Paris, France.
Microform Academic Publishers
Microform Imaging Limited has two distinct trading divisions. Microform Scanning & Microfilming which provides bureau services, and Microform Academic Publishers which maintains the company’s original pedigree focusing on preservation and dissemination of the information and knowledge stored in libraries, archives and record offices from all corners of the United Kingdom. Additionally their British Online Archives (BOA) is used for their digitized primary source collections under the parent company of Microform Academic Publishers.
As of September 2018, the North American sales representative for the BOA collections is Digital Micro Media (DMM).

Portico preserves scholarly literature published in electronic form and ensures that these materials remain accessible to future scholars, researches, and students. Portico is part of ITHAKA, a not-for-profit organization with a mission to help the academic community use digital technologies to preserve the scholarly record and to advance research and teaching in sustainable ways. Content is received from participating publishers, migrated to standard formats and preserved. Access is provided to eligible libraries when a trigger event occurs. Portico is a division of Ithaka Harbors, Inc. Portico was certified by CRL in 2010 as a trustworthy digital repository.
