LLMC-Digital
LLMC-Digital, the online platform of the nonprofit Law Library Microform Consortium, makes a wide range of legal and governmental publications available online for the use of the academic community. The content and interface of LLMC-Digital are reviewed here; its value for use in historical research is compared to other databases in a CRL topic guide.
Early Arabic Printed Books from the British Library, 1475-1900
Early Arabic Printed Books from the British Library, 1475-1900 is a full-text searchable digital collection of early printed books in Arabic script. This collection covers Islamic and Christian literature, law, science, mathematics, astrology, alchemy, medicine, geography, travel, history, chronicles, and literature. It also includes European translations of Arabic works and Arabic translations of Christian religious works.
The collection will be available in three modules:

British Newspapers IV, 1780-1950 provides access to national, regional, and local newspapers published in Britain between the late 18th to mid-20th centuries, reflecting the social, political, and cultural events of the times. This group of titles extends the previous digital collections Gale created from the British Library collections.
Publishers Weekly Digital Archive
Publishers Weekly Digital Archive provides digital access to issues published from 1872 to 2013. Material is reported to be provided in its original context, including advertisements. It includes approximately 200,000 book reviews, publishing news, book trade statistics, and bestseller lists from 1895 forward.
Smithsonian Collections Online
Gale is working with the Smithsonian Institution to expand access to archival content on selected materials held at various Smithsonian repositories, including: the Smithsonian Libraries, Dibner Library of the History of Science and Technology, the Cooper Hewitt Smithsonian Design Library, and the National Museum of American History's Archives Center and Library.

Sunday Times Digital Archive, 1822-2016 provides access to nearly 600,000 pages of the British newspaper The Sunday Times.

The Times Digital Archive 1785-2012 provides access to full-text facsimile of the historical newspaper the Times (London).
International Herald Tribune Historical Archive 1887-2013
International Herald Tribune Historical Archive 1887-2013 provides access to the full run of the daily newspaper, from its first issue through to 2013. Articles, advertisements, and market listings are included—shown both individually and in the context of the full page and issue of the day.

Manchester Shakespeare is a new digital collection from Manchester University Press. This collection provides access to 38 eBooks covering historical, social, and cultural critiques of Shakespeare and his contemporaries' works, such as Sepnser, Kyd, Marlowe, and Lyly.

Manchester Security, Conflict & Peace 2018 provides access to eBook collection of 58 books.
According to Manchester University Press, the collection of books are written by leading names in the field covering key issues and debates on international, regional and national security, domestic and international terrorism as well as conflict management and resolution and practices of peace building.
Data-Planet Statistical Datasets and Hosting Services
Data-Planet Statistical Datasets provides access to a repository of standardized and structured statistical data. As of 2018 the Data-Planet repository is said to contain more than 18.9 billion data points from more than 70 source organizations. The over 3.9 billion time series listed by Data-Planet provide access to data presented in charts, maps, graphs, and table form, via multiple points of entry.
The Data-Planet platform facilitates storage, accessibility, usability, maintenance and archiving of statistical data. This includes statistics sourced from both third parties and directly from researchers.
Early State Records
Early State Records, contains a compilation of the microfilm collection Records of the States of the United States of America that was created in the 1940's.
Included in the original project were: constitutions, the debates of constitutional conventions; statutes and early versions of compiled laws; journals and debates of the legislative bodies of the thirteen original states; administrative, executive, and court records; local, county, and city records; broadsides; records of the Native American nations; and newspapers covering British Colonial America and post-Revolutionary development. The entire collection totals roughly 2,500,000 pages or images (approximately 1900 reels including at least one supplement.)
EIU Data Solutions
The Economist Intelligence Unit (EIU) Subscription Services provide several distinct sources of information on global political and economic trends, including original research and analysis. One group of subscription services products from the EIU is “Data Services,” presented as both regular reports themselves and as distinct, web-based tools.

Mobilizing East Asia provides access to English-language newspapers, magazines, books, and pamphlets published in East Asia from 1904-1959.
American Fiction, 1774-1920
American Fiction, 1774-1920 provides access to works taken directly from Lyle H. Wright’s American Fiction: A Contribution Towards a Bibliography (San Marino, California, 1965-69); post-1900 works from the Library of Congress Shelf List of American Adult Fiction; and "American Fiction, 1901-1925: A Bibliography" by Geoff Smith from the holdings of the William Charvat Collection of American Fiction at The Ohio State University Libraries.
17th and 18th Century Nichols Newspapers Collection
17th and 18th Century Nichols Newspapers Collection contains the collection of newspapers from John Nichols (1745-1826). This collection over 150,000 pages of printed text gathered from the newspapers that span over 100 years of history.
Through a partnership with the Bodleian Library, Gale has digitally scanned each page of this collection.
The Economist Historical Archive
The Economist Historical Archive provides access to issues of The Economist between 1843-2012 - from cover to cover. It includes news, analysis, commentary, editorials, statistics, demographics, letters to the editor, obituaries, and historical photographs.
This collection is updated annually (2012 content added in 2016, 2013 to be added in 2017, etc.).

British Literary Manuscripts II, Medieval & Renaissance provides access to a collection facsimile images of literary manuscripts from roughly 1120 to 1660.
