Esri Business Analyst
Esri's Business Analyst, also known as ArcGIS Business Analyst, is a database and software that provides tools for mapping, analysis, and work management. The product combines GIS analysis and visualization tools with a data package that provides insight in to markets, customers, and competitors. The software provides a system for analyzing data to reveal patterns in a business and is mainly focused as a solution for market planning and site selection.
EIU Country Reports
One title within the Economist Intelligence Unit's (EIU) "Country Analysis and Forecasting" subscription series set is the EIU Country Reports. These provide regular, detailed economic and political forecasts for over 190 countries, and EIU assessments of the business and regulatory environments in those countries. The reports are updated periodically to reflect significant political and economic developments, and provide data on key economic indicators, and forecasts of economic statistics out to five years.
ArcGIS
ArcGIS is an online, cloud-based mapping platform that enables visualization and access to geographic information system (GIS) data in the form of: base maps, imagery, and demographic data along with analytic and mapping tools.
EIU Data Solutions
The Economist Intelligence Unit (EIU) Subscription Services provide several distinct sources of information on global political and economic trends, including original research and analysis. One group of subscription services products from the EIU is “Data Services,” presented as both regular reports themselves and as distinct, web-based tools.
FDsys
FDsys is an open access repository of U.S. federal government agency and legislative branch publications. According to a 2006 GPO presentation, FDsys "will be a world class system for managing official Government content. The system will verify and track versions, assure authenticity, preserve content, and provide permanent public access." The system was largely developed by Harris Corporation under a contract let by the GPO in 2006. In 2016 the GPO announced that "govinfo", a new system in beta, will eventually replace the FDsys website.iPoll Databank
The iPoll database is a data source for U.S. public opinion questions and answers.
IMF eLibrary
IMF publications and data are now fully available online through the IMF eLibrary. The content is divided into three collections: Books and Analytical Papers, Periodicals, and Statistics. Statistical data is fully searchable in one database compiled from data going back to the 1940s. Altogether IMF reports that the eLibrary covers more than 13000 titles and five databases.
One Atlas
One Atlas is a satellite image library covering the entire Earth's landmass in high resolution images. The library is updated every 12 months and can be integrated with users' data. One Atlas employs Google Cloud Platform for implementation of the images to enable mapping, planning and management capabilities.
Bloomberg Professional Service
A comprehensive, premium financial information platform used by finance and investment professionals, journalists, economists, and other researchers, Bloomberg Professional Service provides access to current and historical news and information relating to financial markets and financial activity worldwide.
Morningstar Investment Research Center
The Morningstar Investment Research Center product provides access to stock market data and analysis, equity, and mutual funds information for research. The resource is a subscription database designed to service institutions, investors, and business students. In a 2010 review in The Charleston Advisor, John Schmitt called the product "a versatile investment tool that uses current data and in-depth analysis to put a value on stocks, bonds, mutual funds, exchange-traded funds, and broad markets . . . [with] analytic tools that a layman can use to understand risk and diversification."
Crimson Hexagon Data Library
Crimson Hexagon is a social media analytics service, based in Boston, MA, that indexes social media posts from a wide range of global sources,and maintains an online repository of social media data and a platform for social media analytics. The data library provides posts from content providers including: Twitter, Tumblr, Google Plus, Blogs, Forums, Facebook, Instagram Hashtags, Reviews, News, Comments, and YouTube.
PrivCo
The PrivCo database provides extensive private company financial information for over 500,000 companies. It includes data on private company investors, M&A deals, private firm valuations, venture capital funding, private equity deals, private and family ownership breakdowns, bankruptcies, restructuring, and more.
Mergent Archives
Mergent Archives (previously, Mergent Webreports) is an online database of indexed corporate and industry related documents. Containing 180,000 documents from over 100 countries/industries, the collection includes digitized manuals with global corporate historical data, equity research reports, international annual reports, and archived analyses and forecasts from Mergent, Inc.
IPUMS Terra
IPUMS Terra (previously known as TerraPop) is an online, open access database that provides users with global-scale data on human population characteristics, land use, land cover, climate, and other environmental characteristics. IPUMS Terra also provides tools for integrating, analyzing and visualizing data that have spatial and temporal dimensions.
CEIC Global Database
CEIC Global Database provides access to macro- and microeconomic data from 128 countries, containing reportedly over 2.5 million time series from the United States and countries worldwide. Indicators include government and public finance data (gross domestic product, national government debt), inflation, domestic trade, foreign trade, financial markets, and key industry sectors such energy and tourism. Data is compiled and normalized by CEIC for comparison of various economic factors across countries. CEIC’s platform (CDMNext) allows dowloading of time series data (up to 3,000 series at a time) to Excel for analysis.

IPUMS USA
The Integrated Public Use Microdata Series (IPUMS-USA) is an online, openly accessible resource of more than fifty samples of the American population drawn from fifteen federal censuses and from the American Community Surveys of 2000-present. IPUMS-USA is composed of microdata and includes a data extraction system that enables users to select the samples and variables they require.
FactSet Databases
Platform providing access to aggregated data and databases of U.S. and international financial data.
African Financial & Economic Data (AFED)
African Financial & Economic Data (AFED) aggregates financial and economic data from African countries, providing intelligence in a standardized format for research and analytics.
AFED claims coverage from all 54 African countries and is presented either as data sets, country profiles, or by sector focus.

Datastream
Thomson Reuter's Datastream is a financial database that provides access to current and historical financial statistics. The database covers U.S. and international stock index data, exchange and interest rates, warrant and commodity data, economic data, bonds, equities, and company accounts.
Morningstar Direct
Morningstar Direct is a cloud-based investment analysis platform. The subscription-based product provides access to Morningstar's data, analytics, and market research.
The product offers global data covering historical portfolio holdings, equities, separate accounts, hedge funds, ETFs, indexes, and real-time pricing. The product also includes analysis tools for researchers to use in utilizing the data.
