17th and 18th Century Nichols Newspapers Collection
17th and 18th Century Nichols Newspapers Collection contains the collection of newspapers from John Nichols (1745-1826). This collection over 150,000 pages of printed text gathered from the newspapers that span over 100 years of history.
Through a partnership with the Bodleian Library, Gale has digitally scanned each page of this collection.
The Economist Historical Archive
The Economist Historical Archive provides access to issues of The Economist between 1843-2012 - from cover to cover. It includes news, analysis, commentary, editorials, statistics, demographics, letters to the editor, obituaries, and historical photographs.
This collection is updated annually (2012 content added in 2016, 2013 to be added in 2017, etc.).

British Literary Manuscripts II, Medieval & Renaissance provides access to a collection facsimile images of literary manuscripts from roughly 1120 to 1660.

British Literary Manuscripts I, 1660-1900 provides access to facsimile images of literary manuscripts from the Restoration through the Victorian era.
The collection includes letter and diaries, drafts of poems, plays, novels, essays, journals, and more.
Crime, Punishment, and Popular Culture, 1790‐1920
Crime, Punishment, and Popular Culture, 1790-1920 is a digital archive that provides access to: trial transcripts documents related to the development of forensic techniques, detective agency records, prisoner photographs, newspaper reports, true crime literature, police force records, prison postcards, Penny Dreadfuls, dime novels, detective fiction and mysteries, manuscript collections from well-known figures (police, criminals, detectives), and crime related broadsides and prints.
Brazilian and Portuguese History and Culture: The Oliveira Lima Library
Gale is digitizing portions of the Oliveira Lima Library collection of historic Brazilian and Portuguese materials. Now housed at Catholic University of America, the collection is wide ranging, covering various colonial areas while emphasizing the Portuguese-speaking world.

World Scholar Historical Archive: Latin America provides access to 1.3 million pages of primary and secondary sources from Latin America from the 15th century to present day.

Early English Books Online (EEBO) provides online access to 22.5 million pages from more than 125,000 books from 1473 to 1700. EEBO is being further enhanced through the JISC-funded Text Creation Project*, that is re-keying 20% of the titles in the collection to make them fully searchable for the first time. *The EEBO-TCP project is an international scholarly collaboration and partnership between Oxford University, the University of Michigan, JISC, the Council on Library and Information Resources, and ProQuest.
Church Missionary Society Periodicals
Church Missionary Society Periodicals provides digital access to two hundred years of serial publications from the British-based Church Missionary Society (CMS) and the South American Missionary Society. The collection consists of two modules.
Module 1: Global Missions and Contemporary Encounters was released in April 2015 and features a wide range of titles from the collection at the Crowther Mission Studies Library in Oxford. It includes the Church Missionary Gleaner, CMS Outlook, CMS Intelligencer, Ruanda Notes (MAM News) and the South Missionary Magazine, encompassing issues from 1804-2009.

Archives of Human Sexuality and Identity is a three part collection which will provide access to documents (government and non-government), grassroots newsletters and journals, periodicals, literature, diaries, personal papers, and ephemeral material related to the LGBTQ movement in North America and beyond.
Part I (LGBTQ History and Culture, 1946-2000s) will provide access to approximately 2 million pages of newsletters, personal papers, government documents, and more, represent the Gay Rights Movements between 1946-200s. (Expected publication March 2016) Part II (Human Sexuality) will focus on 18th century to late 19th century erotic literature, diaries of key figures, and have a broader focus on sexuality. The American Civil War: Letters and Diaries contains more than 400 sources of diaries, letters, and memoirs, to provide access to thousands of views on almost every aspect of the war. Collection includes 200 letters written by Amos Wood, his wife Clara, and their three-year-old son, Freddie, illustrating what life was like for a Massachusetts family separated by the war.
60 Minutes: 1997-2014
The 60 Minutes: 1997-2014 collection from Alexander Street Press provides access to the CBS News archives from this period. This online collection provides 350 hours of high-definition videos from 17 years of broadcasts, and includes 175 hours of bonus segments from the CBS News program Sunday Morning.
World Newspaper Archive
The World Newspaper Archive is the product of a collaboration between CRL libraries and Readex,a division of NewsBank, to preserve and provide persistent access to historical newspapers from around the globe.

O Acervo Estadão (O Estado de S. Paulo digital archive)
First published on January 4, 1875, O Estado de S. Paulo is one of the major daily newspapers of Brazil.
On May 23, 2012, the newspaper announced the digitization of its entire collection, accessible through the portal O Acervo Estadão (http://acervo.estadao.com.br/). The archival content is accessible to current subscribers of print or digital versions of O Estado de S. Paulo. Nonsubscribers may access limited portions of content after registration.
