Nineteenth Century British Pamphlets
As part of the JISC Digitisation Programme, this resource provides online access to some of the most significant collections of 19th century pamphlets held in UK research libraries. The digitisation of some twenty six thousand paper copy pamphlets, has created over one million page images that focuses on the political, economic, and social issues that fuelled the great Parliamentary debates and controversies of the 19th century.

Springer +Science & Business Media currently publish some 1,900 journals in 11 subject areas in science, technology, medicine and humanities & social sciences. In addition Springer publishes e-books.

Science Full Text Select features all of the full text content from the following Wilson full text databases: Applied Science & Technology Full Text, Biological & Agricultural Index Plus, and General Science Full Text. In addition, Science Full Text Select includes the full text content of relevant journals selected from other Wilson full text periodical databases. N.B. ProQuest Periodicals Archive Online
Builds on the collection of 80 journals from Periodicals Archive Online already purchased on behalf of the UK academic community by JISC Collections. A growing online archive of digitised, full image journal articles Periodicals Archive Online is made up of 8 multidisciplinary collections. Subjects covered in each collection span the arts, humanities, and social sciences; politics, and psychology. Periodicals Archive Online can be purchased in collections for permanent ownership and online access by subscription. Subjects spanning the arts, humanities, and social sciences, including business, history, linguistics, literature, philosophy, politics, and psychology.
ProQuest Dissertations and Theses
With more than 2.7 million entries, and 1.2 in full text, ProQuest Dissertations & Theses (PQDT) is the database of record for doctoral dissertations and master's theses. The database represents the work of authors from over 1,700 graduate schools and universities in North America and from around the globe. Over 70,000 new dissertations and theses are added to the database each year.

The Oxford Dictionary of National Biography Online provides a range of search options such as by keyword, biographical search and powerful full text searches. Extensive internal cross-referencing makes it possible to move to articles of related interest with ease and you can explore the Dictionary by theme - for example follow a trail through the Kings and Queens, or Prime Ministers, of Britain. Ovid Arts Package
The Ovid Arts Package is a collection of four Arts and Humanities 'Abstract and Indexing' databases, currently provided on the SilverPlatter platform. The Bibliography of the History of Art (BHA) presents contemporary literature from 1973 to the present day on the visual arts from the 4th century to modern times. JSTOR - Plant Science Collection
JSTOR Plant Science is an online environment that provides access to foundational content vital to plant science - plant type specimens, taxonomic structures, scientific literature, and related materials. This new environment includes hundreds of thousands of type specimens, paintings, drawings, correspondence, and supporting materials. By 2013, JSTOR expect to have over 2.2 million type specimens available, making JSTOR Plant Science the largest collection of its kind in the world. This collection brings together over 50 titles in the mathematical and statistical sciences from existing JSTOR collections. JSTOR - Life Sciences Collection
Life Sciences comprises the largest collection of journals in the field sciences, and broad coverage of the health sciences. At more than 160 journals and 8 million pages, the collection is JSTOR's largest, spanning more than 340 years of science history and research in the sciences. Disciplines include aquatic science, botany, developmental & cell biology, ecology, paleontology, and zoology.
