Central European University (CEU) Press is a leading publisher in the history of Central and Eastern Europe and the former communist countries of the Soviet Union. Mass Observation

Mass Observation Online is a digital collection of unpublished reports on everyday life and culture in Britain between 1937 and  1972. VoxGov

VoxGov, first launched for subscription access in January 2014, is a unique “discovery platform” which aggregates a broad range of official and ephemeral information resources issued by individual representatives and organizations from all branches of the U.S. Federal Government, and links that content to publicly accessible government documentation. It is an online subscription-based service primarily used for Political Science and Public Policy research.

Based on Joseph Sabinʼs bibliography, Bibliotheca Americana, this digital collection from Gale Cengage provides a variety of material published about the Americas between 1500 and 1926. Classic Mexican Cinema

Classic Mexican Cinema  is a small, specialized digital collection of around 40,000 pages issued as one of the Brill Primary Sources collections. The five periodicals featured are from the Archives of the Filmoteca of the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México (UNAM). In addition to periodicals the collection includes the personal scrapbook of filmmaker Fernando de Fuentes, as well as 50 rare lobby cards.

ORCID

ORCID provides two core functions: (1) a registry to obtain a unique identifier and manage a record of activities, and (2) APIs that support system-to-system communication and authentication. ORCID makes its code available under an open source license, and will post an annual public data file under a CC0 waiver for free download.

Wiley Digital Archives is a discovery platform and database that provides access to collections of historical primary resources that have been digitized from societies and archives representing knowledge, learning and scholarship in the sciences. The collections that are available through the resource constitute the study of sciences and medicine through primary resources which include: maps, manuscripts, periodicals, administrative papers, fieldwork, correspondence, books, photographs, illustrations, proceedings, meeting minute books, conference papers, pamphlets, reports, grey literature, and ephemera.

Social Explorer - OUP

The Social Explorer database was launched in 2003 by Oxford University Press (OUP), and contains the entire U.S. census history as well as numerous other demographic and environmental study reports, as well as mapping tools. The website seamlessly integrates spatial and numeric data through an easy-to-use interface and makes working with socio-demographic data simple even for a novice user.

In April 2019, OUP announced that OUP and Social Explorer, Inc. mutually agreed to end its partnership.  Beginning on April 22, 2019, Social Explorer. Inc. began to provide subscriptions and services to Social Explorer directly with subscribers.

East India Company

East India Company is a digital collection of the official records of the East India Company (1595-1858) and the India Office (1858-1947) held at the British Library. Adam Matthew is digitizing the IOR archive over the next five years in conjunction with the British Library, . 

This collection will include the charters and minute books of the East India Company and the minute books of the post-1858 governing agency, the Council of India.

Caribbean Studies in Video: The Banyan Archive

Caribbean Studies in Video: The Banyan Archive provides access to more than 1,100 hours of both edited programs and unedited footage from Banyan Productions in Trinidad & Tobago.

Founded in 1974, Banyan Productions provided entertainment programs in the Caribbean.  It featured a mixture of documentaries, drama and music entertainment, and social commentary for, about, and by the Caribbean people.

The Statista database portal, maintained by the Hamburg, Germany-based Statista Inc., provides current statistical data and comparisons for an eclectic, wide-ranging, and continually updated array of topics, using both publicly accessible and proprietary sources.
