17th and 18th Century Burney Newspapers Collection provides access to seventeenth and eighteenth century English news media available from the British Library and includes more than 1,000 pamphlets, proclamations, newsbooks and newspapers from the period. 

Gathered by Reverend Charles Burney (1757-1817), a notable scholar and son of a well-known music historian of the same name, this collection covers more than two hundred years of accounts, explanations, and points of views. African Electronic Journals (SA ePublications)

A full-text online database of more than 350 South and Southern African journals.  The titles deal with business, education, the humanities, science, medical and health sciences, law, and theology. Cairn

Cairn aggregates scholarly journal content for social science and humanities journals published in France and Belgium.  Most of the content dates back only to 2001. As of late 2014, over 400 journals and 4,000 ebook titles (more than 300,000 full-text articles and book chapters) were included. Content is updated continually, averaging five new journal issues per day.

Since 2010, Cairn also offers e-book packages from major French, Belgian and Swiss publishers.
