The Gilded Age

The Gilded Age collection brings together 53,000 pages of full text, photographs, songs for listening online, and other primary materials, along with video interviews and twenty-five critical documentary essays. Each documentary essay poses an interpretive question and then illuminates it with dozens of annotated primary documents, introductions, and essays. The critical documentary essays have been created by leading scholars in the field, including Samuel Thomas of Michigan State University, Christopher Reed of Roosevelt University, Kim Warren of the University of Kansas, and Daniel Thorp of Virginia Tech.

IMF publications and data are now fully available online through the IMF eLibrary. The content is divided into three collections: Books and Analytical Papers, Periodicals, and Statistics. Statistical data is fully searchable in one database compiled from data going back to the 1940s. KLG - Kritisches Lexikon zur deutschsprachigen Gegenwartsliteratur provides access to contemporary German-language literature of the 20th and 21st centuries.

Founded by Heinz Ludwig Arnold and currently edited by Hermann Korte, the KLG contains more than 800 articles. Detailed essays give a survey of the author's work and influence and include bibliographies of the author's works and of secondary literature.

The KLG database is closely integrated with Munzinger's information services and is continually updated and expanded.
