Global Think Tanks (formerly Policy Commons)
Global Think Tanks indexes and links to more than 3.4 million reports, working papers, policy briefs, data sources, and media drawn from a curated directory of more than 24,000 think tanks, including IGOs, NGOs, and research centers across the globe. Delivered on the Policy Commons Platform, Global Think Tanks currently provides full text coverage of more than 8,500 organizations and includes more than 55,000 rescued reports from over 500 inactive organizations.
IPUMS Terra
IPUMS Terra (previously known as TerraPop) is an online, open access database that provides users with global-scale data on human population characteristics, land use, land cover, climate, and other environmental characteristics. IPUMS Terra also provides tools for integrating, analyzing and visualizing data that have spatial and temporal dimensions.
DIVA-GIS
DIVA-GIS is a free computer program for mapping and geographic data analysis (geographic information system) that also provides access to free spatial data for the whole world that you can use in DIVA-GIS or other programs. Spatial data is also openly available at the country and global level and also includes global climate data, species occurrence data, and high resolution satellite images.
Data.Gov
The Data.Gov Data Catalog provides open and free access to 186,613 datasets aggregated by the U.S. government featuring geospatial and demographic information.
U.S. Geological Survey's GIS Data
The U.S. Geological Survey is a source for free and open access Geographic Information Systems (GIS) Data. The datasets include both spatial and geographic data provided through several access platforms including: the National Map, Earth Explorer, GloVIS, LandsatLook, and others.
UNEP Environmental Data Explorer
UNEP Environmental Data Explorer is the online resource for data sets used by the United Nations Environment Programme and its partners. The online database holds national, subregional, regional and global statistics and geospatial data sets covering environmental related themes.
Natural Earth
Natural Earth is a public domain map dataset featuring integrated vector and raster data.
ISI Web of Knowledge
The ISI Web of Knowledge platform provides a . . . single, unified environment through which researchers can seamlessly access different types of information: journal literature, proceedings papers, patents, chemical reactions and compounds, as well as evaluated web content. In addition, the content found within the platform is multidisciplinary, ensuring that scholars are not restricted along subject-specific lines. - (from JISC ADAT database)
PolicyMap
PolicyMap is a curated geographic data library with mapping and analytic tools. PolicyMap provides access to over 37,000 indicators from over 150 sources, including Center for Disease Control, Behavioral Risk Factor Surveillance Systems, Bureau of Labor Statistics, Housing and Urban Development, FDIC, FCC, FEMA, and the US Department of Agriculture.
Web of Science
Thomson Reuters Web of Science provides access to the world's leading citation databases. Authoritative, multidisciplinary coverage includes current and retrospective journal and proceedings content in the sciences, social sciences, arts, and humanities, with backfiles to 1900.
World Bank e-Library
Online access to over 5,500 titles published by the World Bank since the 1990s, plus new titles as they become available.
ProQuest Dissertations and Theses
With more than 2.7 million entries, and 1.2 in full text, ProQuest Dissertations & Theses (PQDT) is the database of record for doctoral dissertations and master's theses. The database represents the work of authors from over 1,700 graduate schools and universities in North America and from around the globe. Over 70,000 new dissertations and theses are added to the database each year.
Scholarly Communications Report
Scholarly Communications Report is an electronic newsletter covering news and updates on key issues in scholarly communications. Published eleven times a year it provides a broad overview of industry trends, combined with evaluative and critical analysis of the key issues and developments.
Science Full Text Select
Science Full Text Select features all of the full text content from the following Wilson full text databases: Applied Science & Technology Full Text, Biological & Agricultural Index Plus, and General Science Full Text. In addition, Science Full Text Select includes the full text content of relevant journals selected from other Wilson full text periodical databases. N.B. The subscription fees are displayed in the Agreements tab pro rata to the nearest month if your institution was to subscribe this month.

Springer +Science & Business Media currently publish some 1,900 journals in 11 subject areas in science, technology, medicine and humanities & social sciences. In addition Springer publishes e-books.
JSTOR - Arts & Sciences I Collection
Established in 1997, JSTOR's first collection includes core journals in economics, history, political science, and sociology, as well as in other key fields in the humanities and social sciences. This collection also contains titles in ecology, mathematics, and statistics.
JSTOR - Biological Sciences Collection
The Biological Sciences Collection brings together the 29 journals available in our existing Ecology & Botany Collection with more than 130 titles that span the sciences. The collection is particularly strong in ecology and evolutionary biology, plant and animal sciences, paleontology, and conservation.
JSTOR - Arts & Sciences II Collection
The Arts & Sciences II Collection adds depth to many disciplines introduced in Arts & Sciences I, such as economics, history, and Asian studies. Arts & Sciences II also offers core journals in several additional disciplines, such as archaeology, classics, and African, Latin American, Middle Eastern, and Slavic studies.
JSTOR - Ecology & Botany Collection
Founded with the assistance of the Ecological Society of America, this collection includes the Society's premier research journals along with titles broadly focused on ecosystems. Ecology topics range from biodiversity and climate change to conservation and experimental biology. The botany titles "including the oldest botanical journal in the Americas" encompass a range of topics such as plant biology, systematic botany, and taxonomy.
