Benezit Dictionary of Artists and Grove Art Online joint package (discounted pricing) 2012-2013
The Benezit Dictionary of Artists is now available online for the first time via Oxford Art Online. With nearly 170,000 entries on artists from antiquity to the present day and featuring regular updates, Benezit is one of the most comprehensive and definitive resources on artists in the English language. Grove Art Online covers all aspects of the visual arts from prehistory to the present day, from art and architecture to ceramics and photography. It gives online access to the text of over 50,000 articles from the 34 volume Dictionary of Art, the Encyclopedia of Aesthetics, the Concise Oxford Dictionary of Art Terms, and the Oxford Companion to Western Art.
Berg Fashion Library
The Berg Fashion Library is an online resource to provide access to interdisciplinary and integrated text, image, and journal content on world dress and fashion. The resource offers users cross-searchable access to an expanding range of essential resources in this discipline of growing importance and relevance and will be of use to anyone working in, researching, or studying fashion, anthropology, art history, history, museum studies, and cultural studies.
Bibliography of Arabic Books Online
A bibliography and catalog of books printed in Arabic script before 1960. The records will be based on Arab characters, with full authority control of romanized forms of names and places, as well as the western forms of the names, in accordance with the major international standards (ISO, NACO, NAF). This bibliography will ultimately contain approximately 65,000 titles of books and 15,000 authority records. Also biographical information about the authors will be added. The bibliography will be supplemented over the years from many different sources.

British Academy Publications Online
An online collection of academic monographs and essay collections from the distinguished British Academy list.
Brockelmann Online
Brockelmann Online consists of both original volumes of the Geschichte der arabischen Litteratur as well as the three supplement volumes. It is full-text searchable, making it much easier to consult for researchers and students. 'Brockelmann' is an indispensible research tool for anyone working on the Islamic world in general and the Middle East in particular.
Cambridge Journals Digital Archive
The Cambridge Journals Digital Archive comprises of 171 journals published by Cambridge University Press. American Dictionary of National Biography Online is a source of information about over 19,000 people from all eras who have influenced and shaped American history and culture.
Art Full Text
The Art Full Text database includes the Art Abstracts database and is an indexing of an international selection of publications, many of them peer selected. The database contains abstracts and indexing of 552 periodicals from 1984 onwards, abstracts for every article indexed, and the full text of articles from 252 journals dating from 1997.
Allgemeines Künstlerlexikon (AKL) Online
The Allgemeines Künstlerlexikon (AKL) - Internationale Künstlerdatenbank - Online Artists of the World Online is a lexicon project started in 1969, currently offered through De Gruyter Online. It assembles data about artists from the standard art history works Thieme-Becker (published in 37 volumes from 1907 to 1950) and Vollmer (6 volumes, 1953–62), the Nürnberger Künstlerlexikon, and the Lexikon der Künstlerinnen. The AKL Online is updated on a continuing basis.
Verfasser-Datenbank
Launched in 2012, Verfasser-Datenbank (Database of Authors) features articles on literary authors in the German-speaking world from the Middle Ages to present. The database combines four literary studies reference works for a total of over 20,000 articles: Die deutsche Literatur des Mittelalters, Deutscher Humanismus 1480-1520, Frühe Neuzeit in Deutschland 1520-1620, and the Killy-Literaturlexikon.
Verfasser-Datenbank is intended to be updated regularly, with ongoing revision of Literatur des Mittelalters (German Literature of the Middle Ages) overseen by an academic advisory board. World Biographical Information System (WBIS) Online
The microfiche edition of K. G. Saur's Biographical Archives has been digitized and issued as a group of databases known as the World Biographical Information System (WBIS) Online. Reference works including biographical lexicons, encyclopedias, and monographs dating from the 16th century through the 1990s are the sources of biographical entries and articles on more than five million people from various countries from the 4th millennium B.C. to the late 20th century.
