World Newspaper Archive
The World Newspaper Archive is the product of a collaboration between CRL libraries and Readex,a division of NewsBank, to preserve and provide persistent access to historical newspapers from around the globe.
CRL members support WNA through purchase of individual modules. To date, the WNA includes the following collections or "modules":
African Newspapers, Series 1 (1800-1922) African Newspapers, Series 2 (1835-1925) Latin American Newspapers, Series 1 (1805-1922) and Series 2 (1822-...Global Think Tanks (formerly Policy Commons)
Global Think Tanks indexes and links to more than 3.4 million reports, working papers, policy briefs, data sources, and media drawn from a curated directory of more than 24,000 think tanks, including IGOs, NGOs, and research centers across the globe. Delivered on the Policy Commons Platform, Global Think Tanks currently provides full text coverage of more than 8,500 organizations and includes more than 55,000 rescued reports from over 500 inactive organizations.
Donetsk and Luhansk Newspaper Collection
Digital archive of newspapers aggregated from two self-proclaimed independent states, Donetsk People's Republic and Lugansk People's Republic. The archive contains 848 issues dating from 2013 to 2015. The archive is full-image with searchable text.
This is a static archive, hosted on East View's Universal Database platform.
PrivCo
The PrivCo database provides extensive private company financial information for over 500,000 companies. It includes data on private company investors, M&A deals, private firm valuations, venture capital funding, private equity deals, private and family ownership breakdowns, bankruptcies, restructuring, and more.
MIT Press Direct To Open (D2O)
MIT Press' Direct to Open (D2O) is a new, collective action model, built to support the open access publication of digital monographs from the MIT Press.
Opening the Future with Central European University (CEU) Press
Central European University (CEU) Press is a leading publisher in the history of Central and Eastern Europe and the former communist countries of the Soviet Union. From medieval studies to communism and transitions to democracy it is widely recognised as the foremost English-language university press dedicated to research on the region.
CEU Press has created a sustainable Open Access (OA) publishing model called Opening the Future that gives participating member organizations access to a curated selection of their extensive backlist. The backlist titles are DRM free and libraries get perpetual access after a subscription period of three years. DigiZeitschriften
DigiZeitschriften is an online archive of German language scholarly journals, similar to JSTOR. It includes more than 200 journal titles, 500,000 articles, and 6 million pages. New content is added each month.
PLOS Journals
PLOS's offer is for all 12 PLOS titles and includes any new titles launched during the term. All fees are discounted 1% if paid through CRL/NERL via one invoice.
PLOS provides access to Open Access journals in the areas of science and medicine.
As of 2022, there are 12 Open Access journals available.
PLOS One PLOS Biology PLOS Computational Biology PLOS Climate ...Social Explorer - Direct
Social Explorer database contains the entire U.S. census history as well as numerous other demographic and environmental study reports, as well as mapping tools. The website seamlessly integrates spatial and numeric data through an easy-to-use interface and makes working with socio-demographic data simple even for a novice user.
Social Explorer was previously provided by Oxford University Press (OUP). In April 2019, OUP announced that OUP and Social Explorer, Inc. mutually agreed to end its partnership. Beginning on April 22, 2019, Social Explorer, Inc. began to provide subscriptions and services to Social Explorer directly with subscribers.
Bibliography of Linguistic Literature
Bibliography of Linguistics Literature Online has over 452,000 citations (as of September 2015), with 10,000 added annually. The bibliography lists journal articles, articles of conference proceedings, and other collective works as well as monographs, dissertations, and Festschrifts. Fields of study included in the bibliography are general linguistics, English, Romance languages, and German and other languages to a lesser degree.
The search interface is available in English and German.
Klapp-Online, Bibliography of French Literature
In 2012, the long-established Klapp bibliography of French literature was converted into a database covering the years 1991–2011, presented as Klapp-Online. Annual updates will be released each fall, integrated with the cumulative coverage. The publishers plan to continue with annual printed volumes as well.
KLG - Kritisches Lexikon zur deutschsprachigen Gegenwartsliteratur
KLG - Kritisches Lexikon zur deutschsprachigen Gegenwartsliteratur provides access to contemporary German-language literature of the 20th and 21st centuries.
Founded by Heinz Ludwig Arnold and currently edited by Hermann Korte, the KLG contains more than 800 articles. Detailed essays give a survey of the author's work and influence and include bibliographies of the author's works and of secondary literature.
The KLG database is closely integrated with Munzinger's information services and is continually updated and expanded.

The Datenbank-Paket Duden contains 17 Duden reference works.
De Gruyter Databases in German Studies
De Gruyter provides access to a select number of databases that focus in German studies and related fields. As of Summer 2021, a total of 18 titles were available on the De Gruyter platform with an area focus in German studies including: encyclopedias, diaries, writings by German authors, and more.
De Gruyter Book Archive in German Studies
De Gruyter Book Archive provides access to over 50,000 titles. A select number of the archives are in German studies and related fields.

OpenEdition Journals OpenEdition Books Calenda HypothesesThe OpenEdition publishing initiative focuses on providing open access content. They characterize the funding model as “hybrid”, where library subscriptions derive value added services in addition to directly funding publishing efforts.
Statista
The Statista database portal, maintained by the Hamburg, Germany-based Statista Inc., provides current statistical data and comparisons for an eclectic, wide-ranging, and continually updated array of topics, using both publicly accessible and proprietary sources. The open access portion of the database provides access to about 10 percent of the overall database content.
African Newspapers, Series 2, 1835-1925
Part of the World Newspaper Archive, created by CRL in partnership with Readex, African Newspapers, Series 2 (1835-1925) provides access to 40 newspapers published in Africa during the 19th and early 20th centuries. Content features English- and foreign-language titles from countries including Algeria, Angola, Liberia, Madagascar, Morocco, Mozambique, Namibia, Nigeria, and Uganda.

The Directory of Open Access Journals (www.doaj.org) is a service that indexes, peer reviewed Open Access research journals, periodicals and their articles' metadata.
