Global Press Archive Charter Alliance
The Global Press Archive (GPA) Charter Alliance is an initiative by East View Information Services and CRL to develop a special series of thematically-designed collections to meet the priorities of CRL members. Charter Alliance will result in the creation of nine collections over a period of three years, encompassing hundreds of newspaper titles and totaling over 4.5 million pages.
The CRL/East View GPA Charter Alliance is a sub-component of the broader Global Press Archive initiative by East View to digitize over 2,000 predominantly foreign-language newspaper titles in partnership with Stanford University Libraries and the Hoover Institution Library & Archives.
Cumhuriyet Digital Archive
Cumhuriyet Digital Archive provides access to the Turkish daily newspaper, Cumhuriyet (“The Republic”). The archive contains published issues from 1924-2019, with additional years added on an annual basis.
This title is part of the East View Global Press Archive.
Japan Times Digital Archive
The Japan Times Digital Archive offered by East View Information Services covers the complete run (1897-2016) of this English-language daily published in Tokyo. East View's offer for this product provides access to the publisher's archive as a one-time purchase, with perpetual access rights and annual subscription for ongoing content additions (the archive will incorporate the the most recent year's content on an annual basis).

The New York Times, published in New York City since 1851, is the largest metropolitan newspaper in the United States. The Times has long been an important source of reporting, information, and opinion, on politics, finance, health, science, culture, the arts, sports, and fashion in the U.S. and abroad, with special emphasis on international news and the New York metropolitan area.

The Japan News provides access to the English-language daily from the publisher The Yomiuri Shimbun. Hosted on the Global Press Archive platform, this newspaper archive includes over 27,251 issues covering the period of 1955-present.
World Newspaper Archive
The World Newspaper Archive is the product of a collaboration between CRL libraries and Readex,a division of NewsBank, to preserve and provide persistent access to historical newspapers from around the globe.
CRL members support WNA through purchase of individual modules. To date, the WNA includes the following collections or "modules":

Slovo Kyrgyzstana Digital Archive provides access to the Russian-language newspaper with over 120,000 pages and includes all obtainable issues of the newspaper’s previous titles form the period of 1925-present.
Slovo Kyrgyzstan went through various title changes and was known as Batratskaia Pravda (March-June 1925), Krest’ianskii put’ (1925-1927), and Sovetskaia Kirgiziia (1927-1991).
Nedelia Digital Archive
Nedelia Digital Archive provides access to over 44,000 pages of the Russian-language newspaper for the period of 1960-1999.
Nedelia began as a Sunday supplement to Izvestiia under the editorship of Aleksey Adzhubey, the son in law of the Soviet leader Nikita Khrushchev.
Rossiiskaia gazeta Digital Archive (Российская газета)
Rossiiskaia gazeta Digital Archive (Российская газета) provides access to the official daily newspaper of the Russian government for the period of 1990-2018. The archive continues to grow with an ongoing subscription.

Granth Sanjeevan
Granth Sanjeevan provides access to over 25 million pages of digitized material from The Asiatic Society of Mumbai. The collections include digitized copies of old and rare books from the 15th Century onwards, newspapers like Bombay Chronicle, Bombay Times and others, manuscripts, journals, maps and government publications.
RetroNews
RetroNews, the Press Archive of Bibliothèque nationale de France (BnF) provides free access to over 400 newspapers, journals, magazines and reviews published between 1631-1950.
RetroNews also provides subscriptions to exclusive editorial content and advanced features and search tools used to search through the archival content.
African American Historical Serials
The African American Historical Serials Collection is an archive of periodicals that document the history of African American religious life and culture between 1829 and 1922. It includes newspapers and magazines, plus reports and annuals from African American religious organizations, including churches and social service agencies.

The archive contains approximately 60,000 historical articles, texts of over 1,100 historical books, and more. Content available is written in 80% Spanish and 20% English.

Arte Público Hispanic Historical Collection Series 2 provides access to rare manuscripts, books by Latino-Hispanic Americans, and historical newspapers. The archive contains over 250,000 pages of personal and organizational manuscripts, over 3,000 issues of rare historical newspapers and periodicals, and more. Content available is written in 80% Spanish and 20% English.

Nineteenth Century UK Periodicals: Part II: Empire: Travel and Anthropology, Economics, Missionary, and Colonial provides access to 91 periodicals from Australia, Canada, Ceylon, India, New Zealand, and South Africa.
The collection was sourced from the British Library, the National Library of Scotland, and the National Library of Australia.

Gale's Nineteenth Century U.S. Newspapers provides access to a collection of 500 U.S. newspapers from the 19th century.

Gale Cengage has designed Nineteenth Century Collections Online (NCCO) to be an extensive database with multiple content types, covering most regions of the world. The collection is in a rolling release of twelve modules over several years, with the initial four collection modules (called “Archives” by Gale) released in spring 2012.
Gale Primary Sources
Gale Primary Sources is a universal research experience that combines Gale's digital archives in a single cross-search interface. Users may select one, all, or a combination of accessible databases to search.
The platform allows the use of multiple search options and research tools to search across the variety of archives accessible to the subscribing institution. Features include a wide range of search indexes (keyword, author/creator, document title, subject, place of publication) and limiters (date ranges, content types) to construct searches that best suit the user’s needs. Subject indexing aids content discovery across collections, drawing connections that simple search and retrieval may not achieve.
