Oxford Dictionary of National Biography
The Oxford Dictionary of National Biography Online provides a range of search options such as by keyword, biographical search and powerful full text searches. Extensive internal cross-referencing makes it possible to move to articles of related interest with ease and you can explore the Dictionary by theme - for example follow a trail through the Kings and Queens, or Prime Ministers, of Britain. New and revised biographies and new features will be added on a regular basis.
Ovid Arts Package
The Ovid Arts Package is a collection of four Arts and Humanities 'Abstract and Indexing' databases, currently provided on the SilverPlatter platform. The Bibliography of the History of Art (BHA) presents contemporary literature from 1973 to the present day on the visual arts from the 4th century to modern times. The BHA database indexes and abstracts art-related books, conference proceedings, dissertations, exhibition and dealers' catalogues, and articles from over 4,300 periodicals. Abstracts of Music Literature (RILM, also known as Répertoire International de Littérature Musicale) covers international music scholarship, presenting significant writings from 1969-onward in the area of music, from historical musicology to performance practice and notation. JSTOR - Plant Science Collection
JSTOR Plant Science is an online environment that provides access to foundational content vital to plant science - plant type specimens, taxonomic structures, scientific literature, and related materials. This new environment includes hundreds of thousands of type specimens, paintings, drawings, correspondence, and supporting materials. By 2013, JSTOR expect to have over 2.2 million type specimens available, making JSTOR Plant Science the largest collection of its kind in the world. These materials are now truly global in scope representing over 160 partners in 47 countries on 5 continents.
JSTOR - Music Collection
The Music Collection contains the complete back runs of 33 titles dedicated to scholarly research and theory in the field of music. The collection includes journals published in the Netherlands, Croatia, Hungary, Germany, and France. Every title in the Music Collection is also available as a part of Arts & Sciences III.
JSTOR - Language & Literature Collection
The 58 titles in this collection span the literary cultures of many different countries, containing articles in several languages, including Arabic, Italian, and German. Developed with the help of the Modern Language Association, the collection includes PMLA and a range of core journals in the diverse fields of literary criticism that have emerged in the last thirty years. This collection includes 13 journals from Arts & Sciences I and 45 journals from Arts & Sciences III.

The Arts & Sciences X Archive Collection features broad coverage in Business and the Social Sciences.
JSTOR - Arts & Sciences VIII Collection
The Arts & Sciences VIII Collection broadens JSTOR's coverage of core humanities disciplines including history, language & literature, art & art history, and education. This collection also includes a group of rare 19th and early 20th century American Art periodicals digitized as part of a special project undertaken with the Metropolitan Museum of Art, the Frick Collection, and the Brooklyn Museum of Art. This collection also includes journals in philosophy, classical studies, and music.
JSTOR - Arts & Sciences VII Collection
The Arts & Sciences VII Collection includes more journals in more disciplines than any other JSTOR collection. Its eclectic range of disciplines in the arts, humanities, and social sciences complements research in core disciplines such as history, political science, sociology, art and art history, and language and literature, and the collection represents the largest cluster of health policy titles in JSTOR. Arts & Sciences VII also has the largest collection of international titles with over 15 countries represented.

The Arts & Sciences VI Collection extends JSTOR's coverage in disciplines across the social sciences, with clusters focused in economics, education, linguistics, political science, and area studies. With a minimum of 150 titles available by the end of 2012, the Arts & Sciences IX Collection widens JSTOR’s coverage in business and the social sciences. Journals from over 25 countries provide outstanding international diversity, and rare materials bring unique depth to the collection, with research covering archaeology, anthropology, sociology, business, economics, population studies, and political science.
JSTOR - Arts & Sciences IV Collection
This collection has a strong focus on the professions of business, education, and law, and also includes titles in psychology and public policy and administration. Among the titles are highly influential and diverse publications from leading professional organizations in the fields of business and the social sciences.
JSTOR - Arts & Sciences III Collection
Arts & Sciences III includes journals in languages and literature, as well as essential titles in the fields of music, film studies, folklore, performing arts, religion, and the history and study of art and architecture. Additional interdisciplinary titles broaden the scope of coverage to include folklore, feminist & women's studies.
JSTOR - Arts & Sciences II Collection
The Arts & Sciences II Collection adds depth to many disciplines introduced in Arts & Sciences I, such as economics, history, and Asian studies. Arts & Sciences II also offers core journals in several additional disciplines, such as archaeology, classics, and African, Latin American, Middle Eastern, and Slavic studies.
JSTOR - Arts & Sciences I Collection
Established in 1997, JSTOR's first collection includes core journals in economics, history, political science, and sociology, as well as in other key fields in the humanities and social sciences. This collection also contains titles in ecology, mathematics, and statistics.
JSTOR - Additional Collection 2: Struggles for Freedom in Southern Africa
This collection documents liberation movements in the southern African countries of Angola, Botswana, Mozambique, Namibia, South Africa, and Zimbabwe with access to more than 17,000 digital objects such as oral histories, speeches, nationalist publications, fully digitized books, journals, and pamphlets. Theses materials address topics such as colonial rule, dispersion of exiles, international intervention, and worldwide networks that supported successive generations of resistance within Southern Africa.
JSTOR - Additional Collection 1: African Cultural Heritage Sites and Landscapes
This collection brings together more than 30,000 digital objects of visual, contextual, and spatial documentation of African heritage sites and rock art sites. The materials include photographs, 3D models, GIS data sets, site plans, aerial and satellite photography, excavation reports, travelogues, and other scholarly research that will be of use to students and scholars in anthropology, archaeology, cultural studies, heritage preservation, and architectural studies. Documented heritage sites include Lalibela, Ethiopia; Timbuktu, Mali; and Elmina, Ghana. In addition, rock art sites cover over thirty countries across the continent. Funding for this collection has come from The Andrew W. Mellon Foundation and the Arcadia Fund.

Institutions now have free online access to the full text of every paper published by the Institution of Civil Engineers between 1836 and 2001, representing over 200,000 pages of information.

Grove Music Online includes the full text articles from The Oxford Companion to Music, The Oxford Dictionary of Music, and many other leading music reference works. Updated regularly, this resource is relevant to all levels of study and contains Sibelius enabled audio examples, learning resources and timelines, bibliographic information, and more.
