Grupo Estado is a private holding company comprised of several news and broadcasting outlets in Brazil, including O Estado de S. Paulo, Agência Estado, Rádio Estadão, OESP Mídia, and several others. It is one of the largest newspaper companies in Brazil.  Estado was founded in 1875, making it the oldest newspaper in the city of São Paulo still in circulation. The company began diversification in 1958 with the launch of Rádio Eldorado, and began publishing the Jornal da Tarde in 1966.
