Inter-governmental organization

The United Nations Statistics Division (UNSD) compiles and disseminates global statistical information, develops standards and norms for statistical activities, and supports countries' efforts to strengthen their national statistical systems. UNSD facilitates the coordination of international statistical activities and support the functioning of the United Nations Statistical Commission. 

Eurostat is the statistical office of the European Union. Its mission is to provide high quality statistics for Europe.

The European Commission (EC) is the executive body of the European Union (EU). EC represents the interests of the EU as a whole. 

The Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) is an intergovernmental econmic organization whose mission it is to promote policies that will improve the economic and social well-being of people around the world. 

The United Nations Environment Programme is an agency of the United Nations that coordinates its environmental activities.
