Microform Scanning & Microfilming which provides bureau services, and Microform Academic Publishers which maintains the company’s original pedigree focusing on preservation and dissemination of the information and knowledge stored in libraries, archives and record offices from all corners of the United Kingdom. Additionally their British Online Archives (BOA) is used for their digitized primary source collections under the parent company of Microform Academic Publishers.

Readex is a subsidiary of NewsBank Inc., a privately held company based in Naples, Florida (USA). Established in 1950 as the Readex Microprint Corporation and acquired by NewsBank, Inc. in 1984, Readex is a major aggregator of newspaper and other content in digital, microform and print formats.

Adam Matthew Digital Collections has released four collections in the Confidential Print series. These collections are full-text searchable databases of British Government documents generated by the Foreign and Colonial Offices based in Africa, the Middle East, Latin America, and North America from 1820 to 1970. All items marked “Confidential Print” were printed and circulated immediately to leading officials in the Foreign Office, to the Cabinet, and to heads of British missions abroad.

State Papers Online is a comprehensive collection of primary source British documents. Four modules covering 1509 to 1714, the period of the Tudor and Stuart monarchies, have already been completed; a new collection for the 18th century (covering 1714 to 1782) will be released in three modules, beginning in summer 2013. This wealth of digitized documents includes manuscript correspondence, reports, Parliamentary drafts, and depositions on domestic and foreign affairs.
