The content provided includes publicly available data and multiple listing service (MLS) data combined with property, mortgage and financial databases to provide information required for mortgage and real estate services.
CoreLogic is a database of 4.5 billion property and financial records spanning more than 50 years. These data includes: 99.9 percent of U.S. property records, tax payment histories, geo-spatial data, 57 million rental applications, and more than 1 million active property listings.
The records in CoreLogic database are from public outlets such as the United States Census Bureau, the FBI, and county record offices, and also includes data contributed by commercial aggregators such as ListSource, Market Data Retrieval, and Claritas.
CoreLogic also provides tools that analyze data, such as algorithm-based models, pattern recognition software to expose hidden risk and avert losses, credit merge logic, portfolio monitoring, renter analytics, and predictive modeling.
CoreLogic Delivery platforms aim to be accommodating through their design. The data is provided in XML and bulk data formats, file formats for retrieving data are: ASCII, Excel, Lotus 123, dBase, Access, and Shapefile.
The platform offers several methods for data delivery: passive FTP where the user retrieves data, reports, and images via a secure internet file transmission; active FTP where the data is sent to an address that is provided by the user; and physical storage media where data is received on USB drives, DVDs, CDs, diskettes, magnetic tapes, as selected by the user.
In November 2015, CoreLogic launched its University Data Portal for supporting use by higher education institutions. University Data Portal is a web-based delivery platform that includes Foreclosure data and MarketTrends data.
