    Gallup Analytics is an online platform that provides subscribers with access to public opinion data aggregated through the Gallup World Poll, which annually collects opinions on issues from approximately 160 countries. The data-types covered in the product include: economics, wellbeing, employment, religion, freedom of media, entrepreneurial energy, and politics.

    Gallup Analytics is an online research platform providing access to U.S. data and a decade of global tracking data known as the Gallup World Poll. Since 2005, the Gallup World Poll has captured reality of people in more than 160 countries and regions through nationally representative, consistent sampling frames via face-to-face and telephone polling. Addtionally, through the Gallup Brain, the database contains a searchable, living record of U.S. public opinion dating back to 1935.

    The Gallup World Poll was launched in 2005 with an aim to collect, research and analyze 100 world issues affecting people's lives, such as media freedom, security, leadership approval, happiness, employment and more. Topic areas covered in the Gallup World Poll include:

    • Economic confidence
    • Employment
    • Entrepreneurial energy
    • Confidence in leadership
    • Confidence in military and police
    • Religion
    • Food access
    • Corruption
    • Freedom of media
    • Life evaluations

    The online platform includes new data and historical trends at the country, state and U.S. city levels.Users can view data by demographic categories, compare results across geographies to develop and report findings, including direct citations of Gallup's work. Data can be analyzed daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annually as well as by state and Metropolitan Statistical Area (MSA). The database does not include access to microdata.

    Subscribers include governments, academic institutions, financial services firms, nonprofits, think tanks, media, corporations and other organizations across various industries.

    Delivery

    Platform enables analysis, visualization, and exportation from Gallup's U.S. Daily tracking and World Poll surveys.

    The access platform provides tools for users to: 

    • Perform detailed searches on U.S. and global metrics.
    • Examine data by demographic and socio-economic groups, including income, education, age and gender.
    • Export data to create custom data tables, trends, charts and scatter plots.

    The Gallup Analytics database and the information in it is protected by copyright. All reproductions of copyrighted material must be for non-commercial educational “fair use” as defined by 17 U.S.C. 107.
