This database contains 35 titles and 100,000 pages covering the political, economic, social, and cultural issues affecting East Asia in the first half of the 20th Century.

Brill reports that Mobilizing East Asia Online includes an ex-patriot newspaper from Shanghai, Israel's Messenger. This title is also available as a stand-alone title, but the original production was not OCR'ed.
