It’s the largest collection of books, journals, and documents from the region, covering India, Pakistan, Burma, Afghanistan, and Bangladesh. While the vast majority of the content is presented in English language, and thus allows global access to rare research material on South Asian history, the collection also includes documents in in vernacular (circa 15%), predominantly Bengali and Sanskrit.
Review Documents provided by the Coherent Digital:
Coherent acquired the content from Taylor & Francis, who originally published it on a now decomissioned platform. Coherent migrated the content to the South Asia Commons platform in 2022.
