Members include physicists in academia, national laboratories, and industry in the United States and abroad.

American Physiological Society

Non-profit association founded in 1887 and based in Bethesda, Maryland, the APS is publisher of the American Journal of Physiology, Journal of Applied Physiology, Journal of Neurophysiology, others. Members include those with doctoral degrees  in medicine, physiology and other health-related fields.

The Asiatic Society of Mumbai

The Asiatic Society of Mumbai works and collections focuse in the field of Asian Studies.  Based in Mumbai, India, The Asiatic Society was created by the British as part of a network of institutions "to generate, systematize and disseminate knowledge of India and Orient: a vast and cumulative body of information, learning and knowledge which became constituted into the field of Indology. It was encyclopaedic in its scope, embracing diverse areas like numismatics, epigraphy, anthropology, history, archaeology, linguistics, philology, natural history, geology, philosophy, literature and theology."

Today, The Asiatic Society of Mumbai Town Hall houses thousands of books, periodicals, manuscripts, and other relics and collections collected since 1804....

The Bhandarkar Oriental Research Institute, Pune

According to their website, the Bhandarkar Oriental Research Institute, Pune, was founded on July 6, 1917 in the honor of the work of Ramkrishna Gopal Bhandarakar, the foremost pioneer of scientific Orientology in India.

The Institute is a public organization registered under Societies Registration Act 1860 and Bombay Public Trusts Act 1950.

The institute holds a large collections of rare books and manuscripts spanning over 140,000 books and 28,000 manuscripts collected in a period of 90 years. This collection covers several language and scripts such as Sanskrit, Prakrit, Indian regional languages, Classical, Asean and European languages.

INDEPTH Network

The INDEPTH (International Network for the Demographic Evaluation of Populations and Their Health) Network is a network of health and demographic surveillance systems (HDSSs) that provide a picture of the health status of communities. INDEPTH collects data from whole communities over extended periods of time to reflect health and population problems in low- and middle-income countries (LMICs). INDEPTH is a global network comprised of 43 member centers and 49 HDSS field sites in 20 African, Asian, and Oceanic countries. The network has gathered data since 1998 on health, population dynamics, and development.

Internet Archive

The Internet Archive is a a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization whose goal is to provide a free Internet library. This means offering permanent access to historic collections that exist in digital format for researchers and the general public. They acquire a majority of their content with the Archive-It harvesting service using a Web crawler that collects content from the surface web. The content is maintained and served through an open access digital repository called the Wayback Machine. Internet Archive also offers book digitization services.
