TabbedOverviewThe INDEPTH (International Network for the Demographic Evaluation of Populations and Their Health) Network is a network of health and demographic surveillance systems (HDSSs) that provide a picture of the health status of communities. INDEPTH collects data from whole communities over extended periods of time to reflect health and population problems in low- and middle-income countries (LMICs). INDEPTH is a global network comprised of 43 member centers and 49 HDSS field sites in 20 African, Asian, and Oceanic countries. The network has gathered data since 1998 on health, population dynamics, and development.
