The Roper Center for Public Opinion Research at the University of Connecticut is a non-profit, non-partisan international archive of social science data, specializing in data from opinion surveys.The data held by the Roper Center ranges from the mid-1930s to the present.  Most Roper survey data is from the United States, but data sets from 90 other countries are also held. The Center also provide graduate training in the practice and study of opinion survey research.

JSTOR is a division of ITHAKA, a not-for-profit organization. JSTOR was established to provide digital content for academic libraries and publishers. Their databases include an expanding full text collection of core social science, humanities, and science journals, books and primary sources.

Portico preserves scholarly literature published in electronic form and ensures that these materials remain accessible to future scholars, researches, and students. Portico is part of ITHAKA, a not-for-profit organization with a mission to help the academic community use digital technologies to preserve the scholarly record and to advance research and teaching in sustainable ways. Content is received from participating publishers, migrated to standard formats and preserved. Access is provided to eligible libraries when a trigger event occurs.
