Europa World Plus

The online database Europa World Plus is comprised of 10 product components from the Europa World Year Book and the nine Europa Regional Surveys of the World. 

The Europa World Year Book was first published in 1926 to provide country level economic, political and geographic background information and statistical data information for over 250 countries and territories. Europa World Plus includes a section that profiles approximately 2,000 international organizations in government, political organizations, diplomatic representation, religion, media, finance, trade, industry, transport, and tourism. There is a section of the database that provides comparative statistics on countries along with accompanying data that can be exported as CSV and tab-delimited data. There are also directory contact details with click-through web links. The Europa World Plus database is supplemented with regular online updates.

Also included in Europa World Plus are the Regional Surveys of the World series providing analysis at regional, sub-regional and country level. There are nine volumes:

• The Middle East and North Africa
• South America, Central America and the Caribbean

• The USA and Canada
• Western Europe

The database features essays that analyze key issues for each region and shares a directory of research institutes specializing in each region and book and periodical bibliographies of further research. The database only includes the most recent information.

The license includes a perpetual license clause for the database.
