In 2017, PolicyMap became a Certified Small Business and Benefit Corporation. PolicyMap, formerly from The Reinvestment Fund (TRF), curates a geographic data library with mapping and analytic tools creating their PolicyMap database.
PolicyMap provides access to thousands of customizable maps, including data on real estate, broadband infrastructure, demographics, and more from sources like Zillow, the Census, the Department of Housing and Urban Development, and GreatSchools.

Archives of Refugees, Relief, and Resettlement: Forced Migration and World War II provides access to approximately 700,000 pages of unpublished manuscript records that document the causes, effects, and responses to refugee crises across the world immediately before, during, and shortly after World War II.

The website seamlessly integrates spatial and numeric data through an easy-to-use interface and makes working with socio-demographic data simple even for a novice user.
Social Explorer, Inc. is a software company that launched SocialExplorer.com. Social Explorer was co-founded by Andrew Beveridge and Ahmed Lacevic. The first version of Social Explorer was launched in March 2005 to engage users with demographic data through interactive maps and reports. Through the years the database has been updated with the latest data, interactive tools, and applications.

The China Data Center is a unit of the University of Michigan that was founded in 1997. The China Data Center is designed to serve as an international center for advancing the study and understanding of China. A primary goal of the Center is the integration of historical, social and natural science data in a geographic information system.
The China Data Center is supported by the Office of the Vice President for Research (OVPR), the Institute of Social Research (ISR), and the the Inter-University Consortium for Political and Social Sciences (ICPSR).
