TabbedOverviewThe Socio-Economic Database for Latin America and the Caribbean (SEDLAC) is an online, open source database featuring statistics on poverty and other distributional and social variables from 24 Latin American and Caribbean countries, based on micro data from household surveys. The database is provided through a partnership between The World Bank and The Center for Distributive, Labor, and Social Studies (CEDLAS) at the Universidad Nacional de La Plata. SEDLAC is an ongoing project and regular updates and revisions are made to the dataset.
