In order to accomplish this, WorldPop has constructed a GIS-linked database of census and official population estimate data, targeting the most recent and spatially detailed datasets available. Delivery: WorldPop Data can be accessed through several methods using the WorldPop Data portal: quick search, a data list, the map selector, and the beta data portal (a demonstration application allowing users to view and create custom downloads of sample WorldPop population datasets).
