Immigrations, Migrations and Refugees: Global Perspectives, 1940-1996 provides access to firsthand reports and global analysis on human migration during the 20th Century.  It includes: government documents and books, English-language radio and television broadcasts, newspapers, reports gathered by the Central Intelligence Agency, and more.

Social Care Online is the UK's largest collection of information on social work and social care. It currently contains over 150,000 items. The database provides abstracts of journal articles, books, reports and online resources. Links to the full text of selected documents, reports and articles are included (where freely available online). A wide variety of materials are covered, including: research reports and articles; policy documents; practice guidance; standards; statistics; and training material. Social Care Online was launched in its present form in May 2005.

The MLA International Bibliography indexes books and articles relating to modern languages, literatures, folklore, and linguistics. Coverage includes literature from all over the world--Africa, Asia, Australia, Europe, and North and South America. Folklore is represented by folk literature, music, art, rituals, and belief systems. Linguistics and language materials range from history and theory of linguistics, comparative linguistics, semantics, stylistics, and syntax to translation.

The International Bibliography of the Social Sciences (IBSS) includes over 2.5 million references to journal articles, books, reviews and selected chapters dating back to 1951. IBSS focuses mainly on the four core social science disciplines - anthropology, economics, politics and sociology - but it also covers a range of interdisciplinary subjects, such as development studies, human geography and environment and gender studies. IBSS is especially strong on international material with over 50 per cent of journals published outside the US or UK.

Archives of Human Sexuality and Identity is a three part collection which will provide access to documents (government and non-government), grassroots newsletters and journals, periodicals, literature, diaries, personal papers, and ephemeral material related to the LGBTQ movement in North America and beyond.

American Fiction, 1774-1920 provides access to works taken directly from Lyle H. Wright’s American Fiction: A Contribution Towards a Bibliography (San Marino, California, 1965-69); post-1900 works from the Library of Congress Shelf List of American Adult Fiction; and "American Fiction, 1901-1925: A Bibliography" by Geoff Smith from the holdings of the William Charvat Collection of American Fiction at The Ohio State University Libraries.

Crime, Punishment, and Popular Culture, 1790-1920 is a digital archive that provides access to: trial transcripts documents related to the development of forensic techniques, detective agency records, prisoner photographs, newspaper reports, true crime literature, police force records, prison postcards, Penny Dreadfuls, dime novels, detective fiction and mysteries, manuscript collections from well-known figures (police, criminals, detectives), and crime related broadsides and prints.
