The site provides free access to basic articles, intelligence, and opinion. Institutional subscription provides full article access, full access to databases and tools, and access to NK Intelligence.

The Nation Magazine Archive: 1865-2020
The Nation Archive makes it possible for researchers to access 14 decades of America's best alternative journalism in ways never before possible. The archive contains thousands of historic articles, editorials, letters, reviews, poems, and puzzles dating back to the magazine's first issue from July 6, 1865.
The Nation is an important clearinghouse of primary source material in America and around the world. The archive includes perspectives on news, politics, and culture from writers, artists, novelists, and playwrights. The Nation Archive is a fully searchable electronic version of the magazine's complete backfile, offering a 150-year archive of reporting opinion and criticism.
National Geographic Magazine Archive
National Geographic Magazine Archive provides access to fully searchable issues of National Geographic.
National Geoscience Data Centre
The National Geoscience Data Centre (NGDC) collects and preserves geoscientific data and information, making them available to a wide range of users and communities.
National Security Archive Virtual Reading Room
The National Security Archive's Virtual Reading Room provides access to a collection of primary-source documents the National Security Archive has published. Documents in the collections include documents on major topics in international affairs. NSA has secured these documents through Freedom of Information and declassification requests to more than 200 offices and agencies of the U.S. government.
As of November 2018, the Virtual Reading Room provides access to 3778 documents.

Natural Earth is a public domain map dataset featuring integrated vector and raster data.
Nature PG Journals
Nature PG publishes over thirty Nature Branded journals across the life, physical and applied sciences and, most recently, clinical medicine. Content encompasses daily news from award-winning journalists, expert opinion and practical methodology, and high impact research and reviews. 36 journals are published in association with prestigious academic societies. This is a renewal of the current agreement but does not include an option to purchase Palgrave Macmillan collections of titles under the same licence agreement. Since there was no take up of the Palgrave offer we have agreed to review this further at a later date and as a totally separate agreement.
Nedelia Digital Archive
Nedelia Digital Archive provides access to over 44,000 pages of the Russian-language newspaper for the period of 1960-1999.
Nedelia began as a Sunday supplement to Izvestiia under the editorship of Aleksey Adzhubey, the son in law of the Soviet leader Nikita Khrushchev.
Neues Deutschland
Digital archive of Neues Deutschland, the official newspaper of the former German Democratic Republic, containing 25,251 issues. The content dates from 1946 to the present. The archive is full-image with searchable text.
East View reports that the archive will grow with ongoing subscription and is hosted on East View's Universal Database platform.

The New Republic Magazine Archive is a digital collection of the prominent political and cultural opinion magazine, covering issues dating back to 1914. Providing full-text, indexing and abstracting, the archive is an essential tool for researchers of American politics, foreign policy, culture and arts. This collection includes more than 4,550 issues.

Nexis Uni
Database providing full-text access to a wide range of news, business, legal, and reference information, including hundreds of U.S. and foreign newspapers, legal and business publications, wire services, broadcast media transcripts, and trade/news magazines.
Nexo Jornal
Nexo Jornal is an online news site in Brazil and was launched in the summer of 2015. Nexos has tried to carve out a space for itself somewhere in between academic research and explanatory journalism. Each week it publishes three infographics, two opinion pieces, and a quiz. Every month it publishes a piece of longform reporting. Nexo also has a section of its site dedicated to new academic research, where scholars can submit their work for consideration, and Nexo editors work with them to distill their findings into a more readable form.
Nineteenth Century British Library Newspapers (British Library Newspapers, Parts I and II)
As part of the JISC Digitisation Programme, this resource has over 3 million pages from approx. 70 national and regional newspapers in 19th Century British Library Newspapers Parts 1 and 2.
Nineteenth Century British Pamphlets
As part of the JISC Digitisation Programme, this resource provides online access to some of the most significant collections of 19th century pamphlets held in UK research libraries. The digitisation of some twenty six thousand paper copy pamphlets, has created over one million page images that focuses on the political, economic, and social issues that fuelled the great Parliamentary debates and controversies of the 19th century.
Nineteenth Century Collections Online (NCCO)
Gale Cengage has designed Nineteenth Century Collections Online (NCCO) to be an extensive database with multiple content types, covering most regions of the world. The collection is in a rolling release of twelve modules over several years, with the initial four collection modules (called “Archives” by Gale) released in spring 2012.
Nineteenth Century House of Commons Parliamentary Papers
Access to 6,000 volumes and 4 million pages of documents from core 19th century official Parliamentary publication. This includes debates, proceedings and reports of their committees and more going back to 1801. The content can be accessed via the publishers’ server.

Gale's Nineteenth Century U.S. Newspapers provides access to a collection of 500 U.S. newspapers from the 19th century.
