Daily Mail Historical Archive, 1896-2004 provides access to the archive of the regular editions of the British newspaper, Daily Mail.
This archive also includes access to the Daily Mail Atlantic Edition, which was published on board the cruise ships that sailed between New York and Southampton from 1923-1931.
Indigenous Peoples: North America
The publisher has assembled an extensive grouping of archival materials related to Indians of North America, dating primarily up through the early twentieth century, with some material extending through the 1980s.

Political Extremism & Radicalism in the Twentieth Century: Far-Right and Left Political Groups in the U.S., Europe, and Australia provides access to primary source material related to far-right and fascist movements. It includes material from the National Archives, such as: Security Service personal files on right-wing extremists, suspected communists and terrorists as well as Home Office papers on detainees, such as Oswald Mosley, who were related to far-right groups including the British Union of Fascists, British National Party, Imperial Fascist League, the Nordic League and The Link.

This digital collection presents the full run of Punch magazine from its start until its initial demise, from 1841-1992. The re-launched version from 1996-2002 is not included.

Financial Times Historical Archive, 1888-2010 provides access to more than 900,000 fully searchable pages of the Financial Times. This digital collection includes the complete run of the London edition of the paper, from its first issue in 1888 to the end of 2010.

The Economist Historical Archive
The Economist Historical Archive provides access to issues of The Economist between 1843-2012 - from cover to cover. It includes news, analysis, commentary, editorials, statistics, demographics, letters to the editor, obituaries, and historical photographs.
This collection is updated annually (2012 content added in 2016, 2013 to be added in 2017, etc.).

The Women's Studies collections provide access to a collection of manuscripts, newspapers, periodicals, and more material tracing the path of women's issues from past to present.
Archives of Human Sexuality and Identity
Archives of Human Sexuality and Identity is a three part collection which will provide access to documents (government and non-government), grassroots newsletters and journals, periodicals, literature, diaries, personal papers, and ephemeral material related to the LGBTQ movement in North America and beyond.
Part I (LGBTQ History and Culture, 1946-2000s) will provide access to approximately 2 million pages of newsletters, personal papers, government documents, and more, represent the Gay Rights Movements between 1946-200s. (Expected publication March 2016) Part II (Human Sexuality) will focus on 18th century to late 19th century erotic literature, diaries of key figures, and have a broader focus on sexuality. Brazilian and Portuguese History and Culture: The Oliveira Lima Library
Gale is digitizing portions of the Oliveira Lima Library collection of historic Brazilian and Portuguese materials. Now housed at Catholic University of America, the collection is wide ranging, covering various colonial areas while emphasizing the Portuguese-speaking world.

American Civil Liberties Union Papers, 1912-1990 provides access to the records of the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU), covering the years from before the ACLU’s official founding in 1920 through the 20th century.
This digital collection contains more than 2 million pages held at the Seeley G. Mudd Manuscript Library at Princeton University, and it is available as a two part collection:

The Chatham House Online Archive
Since its founding in 1920 as the Royal Institute of International Affairs, London-based Chatham House has been a leading center for policy research on international affairs. In 2013, an online searchable database integrating a large extent of Chatham House’s publications and archives was made available for the first time. Gale Cengage released the first module of The Chatham House Online Archive, covering the years 1920–79, in 2013. The second module, covering the years 1980–2010, is slated for release in late spring 2014.

Founded in 1924 by Joseph Patterson and Robert McCormick, this illustrated American magazine provided art, stories, articles, and advertisements from the United States during the Depression era and World War II.
Smithsonian Collections Online
Gale is working with the Smithsonian Institution to expand access to archival content on selected materials held at various Smithsonian repositories, including: the Smithsonian Libraries, Dibner Library of the History of Science and Technology, the Cooper Hewitt Smithsonian Design Library, and the National Museum of American History's Archives Center and Library.

State Papers Online is a comprehensive collection of primary source British documents. Four modules covering 1509 to 1714, the period of the Tudor and Stuart monarchies, have already been completed; a new collection for the 18th century (covering 1714 to 1782) will be released in three modules, beginning in summer 2013. This wealth of digitized documents includes manuscript correspondence, reports, Parliamentary drafts, and depositions on domestic and foreign affairs.

The Listener Historical Archive, 1929-1991
The Listener Historical Archive, 1929-1991 provides access to a collection of archived issues from BBC's weekly magazine, The Listener.
This weekly periodical reproduced and reported on BBC broadcasts in radio and television. The archive consists the complete 62 year run of the publication covering new films and books, major literary and musical programs, daily life during World War II, 20th Century poetry, science broadcasting, politics, and more.
