A long-running program based at Vanderbilt University, LAPOP measures and analyzes public opinion throughout Latin America and the Caribbean.The project conducts periodic in-region surveys of voting-age adults, focusing on matters of politics, governance and democracy in Latin America. Survey data are made available in the open access database, AmericasBarometer, in published reports and policy papers, and (by subscription) in structured SPSS and STATA formats.
