Africa Commons
Africa Commons is a project which aims to enable Africa to easily control, digitize, and disseminate its cultural heritage–within Africa, and internationally. Digital repatriation efforts will make Africa Commons available for free to all African institutions, and Coheret Digital is also opening the resource to HCBUs in North America. Public Health in Modern America, 1890-1970 examines the history of public health policy and services from the late 19th century to the end of the 1960s. Content is drawn from the New York Academy of Medicine on topics including national health care, public health services, and other topics, as well as from the National Archive Records Administration featuring a range of collections reflecting federal, state, and city public health efforts as well as campaigns and initiatives from public health advocates to insurance providers and policymakers. Gale Primary Sources
Gale Primary Sources is a universal research experience that combines Gale's digital archives in a single cross-search interface. Users may select one, all, or a combination of accessible databases to search.
The platform allows the use of multiple search options and research tools to search across the variety of archives accessible to the subscribing institution. Features include a wide range of search indexes (keyword, author/creator, document title, subject, place of publication) and limiters (date ranges, content types) to construct searches that best suit the user’s needs. Subject indexing aids content discovery across collections, drawing connections that simple search and retrieval may not achieve.

Arte Público Hispanic Historical Collection: Series 1
Arte Público Hispanic Historical Collection: Series 1 is an archive that provides access to historical content pertaining to Hispanic history, literature, political commentary, and culture in the United States. The archive contains approximately 60,000 historical articles, texts of over 1,100 historical books, and more. Content available is written in 80% Spanish and 20% English.
Women's Studies
The Women's Studies collections provide access to a collection of manuscripts, newspapers, periodicals, and more material tracing the path of women's issues from past to present.
China and the Modern World: Diplomacy and Political Secrets
China and the Modern World: Diplomacy and Political Secrets provides access to records from the Political and Secret Department, the Burma Office (created as a separate entity in 1937) and the Military Department. Arcadian Library Online
Arcadian Library Online presents ca. 400 items ("more than 90,000 pages") of content sourced from the privately-owned Arcadian Library, whose collection of ca. 10,000 items focus on the Levant and "the shared cultural heritage of Europe and the Arab World" (publisher's site). The collection includes books, manuscripts, pamphlets, and other primary sources in a range of languages including Latin, English, Arabic, French and other European languages.
Smithsonian Collections Online
Gale is working with the Smithsonian Institution to expand access to archival content on selected materials held at various Smithsonian repositories, including: the Smithsonian Libraries, Dibner Library of the History of Science and Technology, the Cooper Hewitt Smithsonian Design Library, and the National Museum of American History's Archives Center and Library.

Brazilian and Portuguese History and Culture: The Oliveira Lima Library
Gale is digitizing portions of the Oliveira Lima Library collection of historic Brazilian and Portuguese materials. Now housed at Catholic University of America, the collection is wide ranging, covering various colonial areas while emphasizing the Portuguese-speaking world.

Colonial America is a five-module resource expected to incorporate all 1,450 files form the CO 5 class at The National Archives, UK. CO 5 contains the original correspondence between the Board of Trade and Secretaries of State and the English, later British, colonies in North America and the Caribbean from 1606-1822.
This is a five-module resource, with Module 1: Frontier Life, Early Expansion and Rivalries expected to be released in September 2015.

Archives of Human Sexuality and Identity
Archives of Human Sexuality and Identity is a three part collection which will provide access to documents (government and non-government), grassroots newsletters and journals, periodicals, literature, diaries, personal papers, and ephemeral material related to the LGBTQ movement in North America and beyond.
Part I (LGBTQ History and Culture, 1946-2000s) will provide access to approximately 2 million pages of newsletters, personal papers, government documents, and more, represent the Gay Rights Movements between 1946-200s. Diversity and Dissent: Civil Society in 20th Century America is a thematically-driven digitization initiative by Reveal Digital to digitize diverse material along the themes of civil society: items from non-governmental/non-commercial organizations that supported gender and race equality, workers rights, and other issues that challenged social norms in 20th Century America.
The "Civil Society Investment Fund" is a new funding model proposed by Reveal to create a sustainable funding base for projects. African American Communities provides access to primary source materials documenting race relations across social, political, cultural and religious perspectives in the United States from 1863-1986. This collection focuses on Atlanta, Chicago, St Louis, Brooklyn, and towns and cities in North Carolina, and provides multiple views of the African American community through personal diaries and scrapbooks, pamphlets, newspapers and periodicals, correspondence, official records and in-depth oral histories.
