Apartheid South Africa, 1948-1980
Provides materials from the National Archives of the United Kingdom. It includes official correspondence, diplomatic dispatches, profiles of leading political figures, and minutes of meetings for South Africa during the period 1948-1980.
Hispanic American Newspapers, 1808-1980
This collection, the first installment in the American Ethnic Newspapers series within Readex’s America’s Historical Newspapers collection, presents 369 titles published by Hispanics in the United States, going back to the first known Hispanic-American title published in New Orleans in 1808.
Parker Library on the Web
This significant collection of medieval manuscripts accumulated by Archbishop Matthew Parker and housed in the library of Corpus Christi College, Cambridge, has been digitized in a joint project between the College, Cambridge University, and Stanford University, completed in 2009. The database is maintained by Stanford and distributed exclusively through Otto Harrassowitz GmbH & Co.
The First World War: Personal Experiences
The First World War: Personal Experiences allows researchers to explore the individual accounts, trench literature, and images of war collected from the citizens, soldiers, and military leaders serving on various sides in World War I.
History Study Centre
History Study Centre is an online resource of digitised primary and secondary sources with over 40,000 documents and articles. It is a general history resource covering British, American, European, and world history, and includes over 50 reference works, 60 journals, 3,000 images, and a multimedia section.
Allgemeines Künstlerlexikon (AKL) Online
The Allgemeines Künstlerlexikon (AKL) - Internationale Künstlerdatenbank - Online Artists of the World Online is a lexicon project started in 1969, currently offered through De Gruyter Online. It assembles data about artists from the standard art history works Thieme-Becker (published in 37 volumes from 1907 to 1950) and Vollmer (6 volumes, 1953–62), the Nürnberger Künstlerlexikon, and the Lexikon der Künstlerinnen. The AKL Online is updated on a continuing basis.

Project MUSE Standard Collection
Project MUSE was launched in 1995 by the Johns Hopkins University Press, in collaboration with the Milton S. Eisenhower Library at Johns Hopkins University, to offer the full text of JHUP scholarly journals via the Web. In 1999, Muse expanded to become a unique partnership of not-for-profit publishers, increasing its ability to offer essential periodicals in the humanities, the arts, and the social sciences. As of 9th of August 2011 Project MUSE® offers 490 titles from 133 scholarly publishers in 2011. Project MUSE covers the fields of literature and criticism, history, the visual and performing arts, area studies, cultural studies, education, political science, gender studies, economics, and many others.

Oxford Islamic Studies Online is a resource which brings together the best current scholarship in the field, and promotes accurate and informed understanding of the Islamic world. Including over 3,000 A-Z reference entries, chapters from scholarly and introductory works, Qur'anic materials, and primary sources, this resource will be of interest to a wide audience.
Oxford Biblical Studies Online
Oxford Biblical Studies Online includes over 5,000 A-Z reference entries, chapters from scholarly works, access to full text Bibles along with commentary and annotations plus maps, illustrations, and timelines.
Nature PG Journals
Nature PG publishes over thirty Nature Branded journals across the life, physical and applied sciences and, most recently, clinical medicine. Content encompasses daily news from award-winning journalists, expert opinion and practical methodology, and high impact research and reviews. 36 journals are published in association with prestigious academic societies. This is a renewal of the current agreement but does not include an option to purchase Palgrave Macmillan collections of titles under the same licence agreement. Since there was no take up of the Palgrave offer we have agreed to review this further at a later date and as a totally separate agreement.
Literature Online
Literature Online is a fully searchable library of more than 350,000 works of English and American poetry, drama and prose from the 8th to the 21st century, with thousands critical articles, essays, biographies and encyclopedia entries.
Cinema Image Gallery
Cinema Image Gallery is a rich digital resource of cinema and television images, and accompanying historical and biographical data. All material is cleared for educational use.

Cambridge Histories Online is an extensive collection of leading scholarly content across a diverse range of topics, giving access to authoritative thinking and research.
BioOne
BioOne is an aggregation of high-impact bioscience research journals featuring timely content on a wide array of today's most pressing topics; including global warming, stem cell research, and ecological and biodiversity conservation.
Berg Fashion Library
The Berg Fashion Library is an online resource to provide access to interdisciplinary and integrated text, image, and journal content on world dress and fashion. The resource offers users cross-searchable access to an expanding range of essential resources in this discipline of growing importance and relevance and will be of use to anyone working in, researching, or studying fashion, anthropology, art history, history, museum studies, and cultural studies.
Art Museum Image Gallery
Art Museum Image Gallery is a rich digital resource of art images and related multimedia gathered from the collections of distinguished museums around the world. Access to this resource allows users to manipulate the images to suit their educational needs outside the Art Museum Image Gallery interface. This pedagogical flexibility is enabled by all the images being cleared for educational use.
ACLS Humanities E-Book
ACLS Humanities E-Book is a digital collection of over two thousand full text, cross searchable books in the humanities which are selected for their continuing importance to students and scholars. Updated with over five hundred new titles each year, this resource is suitable for all academic levels.
American Chemical Society Legacy Archives
Over four hundred and sixty four thousand articles from the complete backfiles of twenty two journals published by the American Chemical Society between 1879 and 1995. Titles include some of the most highly-cited journals in the field, such as Chemical Reviews, the Journal of the American Chemical Society, and the Journal of Organic Chemistry.
