Illustrated London News Historical Archive, 1842-2003 provides access to more than 7,000 issues of the illustrated weekly newspaper.

Founded by Herbert Ingram in 1842, it became the first fully illustrated weekly newspaper covering British and world events from 1842-2003.

Immigrations, Migrations and Refugees: Global Perspectives, 1940-1996 provides access to firsthand reports and global analysis on human migration during the 20th Century.  It includes: government documents and books, English-language radio and television broadcasts, newspapers, reports gathered by the Central Intelligence Agency, and more.

"The London Broadcasting Company/Independent Radio News audio archive consists of 7,000 reel-to-reel tapes in a collection that runs from 1973 to the mid-1990s. It is the most important commercial radio archive in the UK and provides a unique audio history of the period. India Raj and Empire is a digital collection of unique manuscript sources from the National Library of Scotland from 1615 through 1947. First-hand accounts from journals and diaries document events including the foundation of the East India Company and the independence of India. Letters and reports from government, military, and business officials provide further insight into this significant historical period for India.

General OneFile and InfoTrac Custom Newspapers are a unique collection of journals and English language newspapers, providing one of the largest aggregations of full text periodical content available to Further Education institutions.

Institutions now have free online access to the full text of every paper published by the Institution of Civil Engineers between 1836 and 2001, representing over 200,000 pages of information. 

International Herald Tribune Historical Archive 1887-2013 provides access to the full run of the daily newspaper, from its first issue through to 2013. Articles, advertisements, and market listings are included—shown both individually and in the context of the full page and issue of the day.

Irish Historical Newspapers provides access to a collection of fully searchable newspapers from Irish Newspaper Archives, Ltd in Dublin.

The regional and national titles found in the collection provide reports of national and international news and events between 1738-2004.

Irish Women Poets of the Romantic Period is comprised of more than eighty volumes of poetry by Irish women writing between 1768 and 1842, such poets as Henrietta Battier, I. S. Anna Liddiard, Adelaide O’Keeffe, Elizabeth Ryves, and Melesina Trench.  Along with the poetic texts are biographical and critical essays contributed by the foremost scholars in the field.
