De Gruyter provides access to a select number of databases that focus in German studies and related fields. As of Summer 2021, a total of 18 titles were available on the De Gruyter platform with an area focus in German studies including: encyclopedias, diaries, writings by German authors, and more.

De Gruyter eBook Collections provides digital access to varying book titles recently digitized. The titles cover topics in the humanities, sciences, and more. A select number of eBooks are in German studies and related fields.
World Biographical Information System (WBIS) Online
The microfiche edition of K. G. Saur's Biographical Archives has been digitized and issued as a group of databases known as the World Biographical Information System (WBIS) Online. Reference works including biographical lexicons, encyclopedias, and monographs dating from the 16th century through the 1990s are the sources of biographical entries and articles on more than five million people from various countries from the 4th millennium B.C. to the late 20th century.
