The American Chemical Society is a self-governed individual membership organization which has more than 161,000 members at all degree levels and in all fields of chemistry. The ACS Publications Division will publish 41 peer-reviewed journals from 2013 onwards, as well as Journal of Chemical Education and the magazine C&EN News and around 35-40 new books each year.

The ResearchNow Collection facilitates access to 57 peer reviewed bepress journals current through the ResearchNow portal. By compiling articles' cited references, JCR helps to measure research influence and impact at the journal and category levels, and shows the relationship between citing and cited journals.
Established in 1997, JSTOR's first collection includes core journals in economics, history, political science, and sociology, as well as in other key fields in the humanities and social sciences. This collection also contains titles in ecology, mathematics, and statistics.
