Gale is digitizing portions of the Oliveira Lima Library collection of historic Brazilian and Portuguese materials. Now housed at Catholic University of America, the collection is wide ranging, covering various colonial areas while emphasizing the Portuguese-speaking world.

British History Online – Premium Content is a digital library of the core printed primary and secondary sources for the medieval and early modern history of Britain made up of 122 volumes of the Calendar of State Papers, Domestic and the Calendars of State Papers for Scotland and Ireland, the Parliament Rolls of Medieval England, and the National Archives Calendar of Close Rolls;    The online calendar texts are fully cross-searchable with a range of other material for the early modern period, and offer scholars the opportunity to comment on, and correct, the recognised shortcomin

The British industrial revolution: mills and education is a thematic series contained as a sub-set within the digitized archival content known as British Online Archives (BOA), distributed by Microform Academic Publishers (MAP).  This series includes the following collections:

British Library Newspapers: Part I-V, 1800-1950 is a series of collections of national and regional newspapers of Britain.  The archive includes newspapers originating in England, Scotland, and Ireland.

The series includes:

British Literary Manuscripts I, 1660-1900 provides access to facsimile images of literary manuscripts from the Restoration through the Victorian era.

The collection includes letter and diaries, drafts of poems, plays, novels, essays, journals, and more.

British Literary Manuscripts II, Medieval & Renaissance provides access to a collection facsimile images of literary manuscripts from roughly 1120 to 1660.

British Newspapers IV, 1780-1950 provides access to national, regional, and local newspapers published in Britain between the late 18^th to mid-20^th centuries, reflecting the social, political, and cultural events of the times.  This group of titles extends the previous digital collections Gale created from the British Library collections

British officers' diaries from World War 1, 1914-1919 provides access to 13,041 pages in 5 volumes of diaries from soldiers during The First World War.
